Luis after shooting my 78G I got to looking at used model 41's and thought holy cow they have a price tag on them.  There's a lot of other PB's that I'd pick out there besides that I'd really like to have without the high price tag.

I picked up a 78G a couple of years ago, not holding gas.  This thread has prompted me to dig it out and look at it some more.  Got the box, manual and partial tin of S&W pellets.  They look a lot like old Sheridan pellets.  Guess I'm going to have to get some seals and tear into this one.

Terry I recommend the urethane o rings in them myself, I did buy a cheap double o ring kit on ebay that appeared to be urethane but they're not, I ended up taking out the main big one for the screw cap for the co2 and replacing it with one the same size (exactly the same size as the Crosman 150 cap) that I'd previously purchased from "The O Ring Store" which are very expensive and top of the line(blue color) in urethane.  It seems like they were about $3 a piece if I remember correctly.  There is a kit available that comes with the poppet and all urethane o rings on ebay that's $35 which is a decent deal considering it's got all urethane o rings.

Victor the main thing that discourages me from buying a Crosman 600 or the Mark1 is the fact it's rare seeing either one with grips that will work for a lefty.

To make one of my MK1's holster friendly, I bought an original set of L/H grips on ebay, and replaced the R/H "thumb shelf" with the flat panel from the L/H set. Now it's ambidextrous and fits in a Ruger MK1 holster.

For one of my 600's, I bought a set of flat (no thumb shelf) walnut blanks from Ralph Brown and shaped them myself. RB is out of business, but I do see 600 wood grips on ebay, and there's a guy who offers them in L/H.

Well I did another video with the S&W 78G, this one here is 24 shots total, with 8 3 shot groups.  I did this one in 720P instead of the 640x480, it's definitely better with the HD video for sure, this will be the last plinking video that I do with this gun because it does use quite a bit more co2 than my Crosman 150's do.  I also just install another poppet in another one of my Crosman 150's (type 1) and I'll be doing a video of this one next.
