Ignore List

I get that I have the option of an "Ignore List" in my settings.  It appears to be for emails and pm communications.  At the risk of sounding asocial, is there a setting to ignore posts or responses by a designated member?  Inquiring minds want to know.  Thanks.

Thomas I had to do this a couple of years ago. I use my phone so your images may appear different.

What this does on a thread is when the members you have in your ignore list replies or post in a thread you will see that they have posted but instead of seeing their post it will have a message similar to this. "YOU ARE IGNORING THIS MEMBERS POST, CLICK HERE TO VIEW".

I attached some screenshots of how to add a member to your ignore list.

Dan, thank you greatly for publishing those exhaustive instructions.  It must have taken awhile and I really appreciate the effort.  The blurb on the page says it will reduce your pm and email traffic.  I have done it in the past and it did nothing for eliminating unwanted posts.  It's not that I didn't know HOW to do that but that the results fell short of what I sought.  I have made the necessary changes and will try it again to see if anything is different.  Thank you again for going to the trouble.  Since your responded to my query I guess I'm not on your ignore list.  Thanks again.

No problem, and I don't have anyone on my IGNORE list anymore.  I think that member disappeared.  And I agree with you it did nothing for eliminating unwanted posts.  I assumed that the ignored person's just wouldn't show in any of the threads, a like you the results fell short of what I has envisioned.
