See the cracked pellet magazine cover? No wonder he was feeding pellets by hand.

BTW ,a fractured translation can be had by clicking the gear icon on the bottom, and then Subtitles, and then the Spanish auto-generated, which will then bring up a list of languages so i scrolled down and clicked on English.

So yeah a fractured translation, but gives a sense of what happened to the magazine. Something about misalignment of the probe and the semiauto mechanism generating too much force slamming into the magazine. Or something like that...

Yeah, I actually very much Like everything about this gun, from the looks, to the form factor, the reasonably light weight (about 6-3/4 lbs), the fast handling short length (~30 inches), the elimination of recocking each shot on a bullpup from *way back there* since it's a SEMI AUTO - and yet the same semi auto action could also be its downfall, at least early on, after watching that test video.

So I may wait and see how it turns out for others (maybe you? hehe) first. It's a China-made Snowpeak after all, from which I have seen stellar guns, yet some less-than-stellar ones as well. Guess time (and more reviews) will tell.

Last time i ordered from Krale it was during the height of lockdowns yet my gun got from the Netherlands to Las Vegas in like two days, I swear! When the pkg. came I thought it was a mistake at first.

So two or three days is the only thing separating my finger clicking on the mouse button and airgun Nirvana - a semiauto bullpup - and what if turned out that the one on Youtube was just an early anomaly and they have since fixed it, and my M40 is flawless?

And where's that "sweating bullets" emoji?

It seems to be a bit lower power gun so pellet shooter only. Too bad, I believe bullets would suffer much less from being slammed by a fast moving probe.

I was looking at this thing too... And then i remembered the China Airguns I owned years ago. Mostly junk. But, then I thought about it. China does make some really effective stuff now days.. Look at covid!  I might pony up when the .25 comes in.

Actually I thought I kinda already trail-blazed a bit by jumping on the SAMrod as soon as they came back in stock, but then the old potato chip slogan, "Bet you can't have just one" does come into play...hmmm, now what should I sell?

Well, your main complain about the marauder semi is that's a rifle and not a Pup,......here's your way to happiness

Actually, I really do like my SAM well enough to sell one or two of my other repeater PCPs, mainly those ones where you have to cycle a pesky bolt or side lever just to get off the next shot...

That is truly a good looking bullpup, but so was my Skyhawk when I bought it.

I ignored the warnings of members here about build quality, members that used terms like “the barrel lottery” thinking I would spend the money for a barrel, better regulator, now after spending a fortune on it, I learn that getting parts out of Snowpeak to fix it, if and when it breaks is nearly impossible.  I love the rifle, but the longevity of it scares me.

I replaced a bad barrel, shroud that had both ends milled crooked, the regulator, magazines and recently made a new trigger linkage.

I just bought a Turkish made rifle after telling myself that due to the state of our world, I would only buy American, I was going to buy a SAM, but doing more due diligence I decided to wait and buy a rebranded Kral, I am hoping I am safe because a American company is backing it up with parts and service, a Kratos.  But two years ago I felt the same about Diana, but it appears they were only interested in selling the guns, not servicing them.

Yes, that little gun looks like a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t would not buy one unless I lived next door to the factory, and if I did the government would not let me anyway.

Good points all, Roachcreek. I know the Skyhawk was at the front and center of airgun community attention when it first came out, but it never seemed to take off, ownership numbers-wise. Also heard the magazines were not that great as well. Hmmm...maybe Benji will make a bullpup SAM eventually. I know CrosmanEngineer here mentioned they had been considering one, among the many projects they have been tasked with developing.
