Mornin y’all. Up with the pup this a.m. Man I’m feeling rough today. I’ve got half a mind to call in and stay home. But I probably won’t.
Y’all have a great day!

Good Morning! I got up at 6:10 this morning. We ate LATE at our youngest daughter's house last night, we got home at 11:10 PM. I only got 1 red light on our way back home and the freeway was MOVIN along at 75 mph so it was a record short time home too. The 32 mile drive can take as long as a hour or a little more sometimes with bad traffic and red lights, we got home in just 35 minutes.
Plans, I need to mow but am not sure if I will get to it today or not, I'll see what I feel like after my coffee.

Morning...
Looks like the rain cleared out and the sun is bright. After coffee I to the 16' trailer and had my tire guy put a tire on it. The front one on the driver side was rounded off and I may need to take the atvs on a couple hour run to check out a sxs for trade. Got a good matching tire put on for $50.

As soon as the wife gets home with the truck I'm going to attempt to wash it 😳 . The wind speed is in the 20s with gusts almost in the 30s.🧐. We'll see how that works out.

Mornin'
Up at 4:30 ish. Made coffee and put on the news. Got my shower and had more coffee.
Betty Lou got up around 7:00. We sat and talked a bit while she watch the news and had her coffee.
Then I headed out and hitched the 16' trailer to the truck and loaded up the wheelers.
Gonna meet up with a guy about an hour and a half away this afternoon that buys, repairs and sells Gators and such.
He said to bring them down and we'll see if we can work something out on a trade.
We ain't looking for one of them big old mud runners that you need a ladder to get in and has a sound system suitable for an out door concert including light show.
We want something to do work around the property and the occasional dirt road cruises with a few of our friends that have them.
I value a fair deal on our ATVs would between $5500 and $6500 for both.

I’m going back to bed. I’ve been sleeping two or three hours each night and then staggering around like a zombie all day. Yesterday I sat in the ranger station and tried to stay awake. Today I called in sick. I’m gonna take a big old pain killer and rack out. Gonna see if I can catch up with my sleep cycle.

Morning..
Up at 4:30. Boss came staggering out of the bedroom around 5:00. She walked to my chair for a scratch on the head then straight over to her bed and commenced to snoring. Normal routine.
Today? Well just like a kid with a new toy today will be all about the JD Gator we bought yesterday evening. It was a 3 hour adventure to go look, strike a deal and bring it home. That included a stop for a bite to eat.
We didn't even unload it from the trailer so that will be the first move.
I also want to see if it fits on our smaller trailer and if so I will sell the 16' trailer because we won't need it anymore. I did some measuring and it looks like I have 1" clearance on the width and the length is no problem.. I can even leave the tool box in.
Already put some seat covers in the shopping cart but I will look around locally before I drop that hammer.
Other plans include the BT speaker tube, 16" LED light bar, cup holders and an aluminum tool box. All of which I have on hand.
Maybe later we'll take it out for a bit of dirt road cruisin'.

Good morning, finally got over this round of flares, allergies kicked it off and left me miserable for a few days. Dump the backhoe and hook up the 3 pt for bush hog to mow the jungle back. It's wet enough now I won't set grass on fire mowing it. Get the van set up to straighten out the radiator frame and get that finished up. My health and weather has made it slow going in getting this done. I'm retired and there is no sense getting in a hurry and breaking things including body parts. The truck is running but no windshield wipers and is another project that will take some time to fix. Just another exciting day on the frontier.

Morning...
Well, I was supposed to go mow Nick's 5 acres because his regular guy hasn't showed up but, I woke up at 11 last night and noticed a large van in the driveway on the security cam. I had a feeling and checked my phone. Sure enough, a text from Betty Lou's Sister. It's her and our BIL came down from Ohio and sneaked up on us. The text said they were here and are going to bed in the van... see us in the morning.
They just bought this 12 passenger van and are converting it to an RV/Camper.
So I guess instead of mowing we'll hang out with them. They are on their way to Florida to meet up with other family members for the weekend. They'll probably head out around noon if I know them.
Kenny (BIL) also has a Gator and I fell in love with it when we were at their place in Ohio a couple weeks ago.. that was part of the reason I wanted one.

Plans got changed yesterday. I have a stump that needed to be dug up so I don't have to mow around it. While I was washing the dirt off I notice some clumpy dirt was not coming off. The tree had been hit by lightning and fulgurite had formed around the roots. It was a pine tree and showed no signs of being struck. I just figured the beetles had found it, in a way they did after the tree was damaged. I'll clean the tree mess up later today after I get done mowing. Joys of living in Florida.

Mornin y’all. Well insomnia seems to be my new normal. On the upside I have a lot more productive time! On the downside I have problems staying awake during the day. As usual I’m in the ranger station today. It’s not bad right now but summer hasn’t started yet.
