Morning..
Gonna be full on sunshine today but temps will just barely crack 70. I still think that might be enough to get the squirrels moving. Think I'm gonna get out and post up in the shooting deck early and see if I can tag a couple.
Guns of choice will be the AV/BR Tactical .25, the NoDoze .22 and the P-Force. All guns will be on a strict diet of home cast ammo.
AV = NOE 250 27 RF
ND = NOE 217 24 RF MAG
PF = NOE 217 30 FN/HP BBT
I'm gonna set up and shoot off the Caldwell DeadShot Fieldpod w/sled mount camera.

If the tree rats don't come out to play I have an idea for a bait station of sorts. We have a few hanging feeders on the front deck and those pests are constantly raiding them. They jump on them from nearby trees and branches making them swing and dump the wildbird seed everywhere. So if that's what they want, that's what they'll get... with a side of lead.

I got up at 5:00. I have my 6 month Cardiology check up at 8:40 and to ensure I will arrive on time, I plan to leave the house by 7:30. After the appointment I will need to go get blood drawn at the lab about 1/4 mile from the Doctor's office. Then I'll head home and maybe stop to eat somewhere since I can't have anything before the blood draw. I almost forgot and had my coffee with French Vanilla creamer, I remembered as I was pouring the coffee in the cup. Oh well I am wide awake and can wait for some coffee.

Our weather today is now forecast to be cool with a a high of about 58°F and a chance of a bit more rain between noon and 5:00 PM.

Just going to be a lazy bum all day. It's snowing and cold so just going to stay inside and stay warm and dry. I'm sure the boss will find something to put the kabashes on that thinking when she finally gets up.

Work texted.  I’m going in 4 hours early today to cover half of a shift.  I have a feeling that tomorrows day shift lineman will be off so I may be staying at work for another ultra shift… 🤦🏻‍♂️😆🤠

Good Morning.

  Today's the big day to get our power service pole replaced. I am not sure what time they are going to show up to start working on it. Our power will be off at the house most of the day though.

 The weather is going to be clear and sunny but a little cool with a high of 68°F. It is 34°F in Hemet right now with cold air coming off the snowy mountain that rises above our valley.

 I need to head down and unlock and open the driveway gate so they can just drive on in when they arrive!

Up a 3:30 to my normal routine.
At daylight I went out and put a small tin roof over the swinging bait station. Then I put the charger on the Rancher atv. I need to move it to get the zturn in the shop.. it kicked the deck belt and I need to put it back on and see if I can find why it kicked it. It is 4 or so years old so maybe it just needs replaced.

 I got the gate opened up and I will say it is kinda brisk out. The roofs on the Church and house are both covered with frost as day breaks here. I am glad it will be sunny and clear today!

 Deck belts coming off can be related to a worn pully bearing. check them when you check things out.
I plan on goofing around outside with airguns, but in the afternoon when it warms up. In the AM I am waiting on a customer to pick up his resealed Blue Streak. So some basement range time till then I guess

  That would be great but I am not sure how big the crew is going to be but I want them to finish as fast as they can so don't plan on introducing them to my squirrel if... I can stay focused. I also want to finish my Generator inlet install to the house breaker panel myself too. So, I'll have to see how things go.

It’s an older model but it has some great features,  voice control, remote set-up, automatic shut off, it never overheats or requires water, and it’s sure is fun to watch it pump!

Plans changed some, the pole installer had an emergency come up and now say they will be here at 7:00 AM tomorrow.

 I plan now to take advantage of the delay to get my generator inlet wiring done today so we can have a whole house generator hook up for tomorrow while we are disconnected from the power company during the pole swap. The house and Church building will be without water though which is not ideal on Sunday but it is what it is. At least we know in advance so we can be prepared to deal with it.

 Well, I better get after it now.

I plan of doing some dog grooming today, once it warms up a bit outside.
Rusty the Golden Doodle dog needs a good clip and brushing out.
Then maybe a bath too once I am finished with the clipping and brushing.
He is 2 1/2 years old now.
He has grow quite a bit this last year.
He had his yearly vet check up yesterday.
He weighed 32 lbs last year.
This year he weighs 46.5  lbs.
