Thinking of going down to my range and doing some shooting. High of 74 with max wind of 8. Sounds like a day made for airgun shooting.😁

Got the outdoor North range shooting deck cleaned up and put back together. I'm just waiting on it to warm up a bit more than maybe do some shooting from there.

Good morning. The last time I looked at the clock before I fell asleep was 2:48 so I was awake for over 23 hrs and I woke up at 7:50 this morning.

 I feel well rested. When I went to bed my smart watch was dead so I slept without it on my wrist so, I have no idea how much restful sleep I got. I just know that my total sleep was about 5 hrs.

 I plan on fiddling around and not doing much today. If I accomplish anything today I will be ahead of what I plan to get done. 

 The weather is going to be real nice, "sunny with a high of 84°F".

There is more potential yard work that needs to be done than I can possibly get done. That's the downside of living in the woods that Ma Nature fights hard to reclaim.

Winter is normally my down time where I can get other things done that I didn't have time to during the spring and summer but this has been one busy winter for me where I'm staying wore out. Glad I have the health to do it all.

I might b-tch about it from time to time but yard/forest work and snow removal is an important exercise that keeps me slightly healthier.  And I actually get a fair amount of pleasure from any outside physical activity even as I'm complaining about it.  It's tougher each year but I ain't giving it up so far.

 If I'm not battling nature, nature won , Plan to drop a dead Ash and start the cleanup process, then load some in the truck to bring home for the next cold snap. I would like to get some squirrel and or rabbit hunting in yet, season ends with February Last feeble attempts were barren.

Morning.. just the normal routine... so far.

I'm in the shop and on the shop PC.. I kept hearing scratching sounds but couldn't find the source. Finally a spotted it... I got a dang bird in here.

Mornin y’all.  Feeling mighty run down this a.m.  Headache, body aches, rumbley tummy.  I think I’m coming down with something but Belle don’t care.  I’m not working and that means I naturally should be playing with the dog. As soon as I get my self motivated we are going outside with a tennis ball.  If I can wear her down early she’ll be mellow for the rest of the day.  There is still a week or so of small game season left here.  If I feel up to it I’m going to take Belle up to the squirrel spot later and we’ll try for some late season squirrels.

It would be entertaining but you'd have a lot of your things to pick up off the ground and put back up on the shelves and counters when it was all over. Well then there'd be all the bird scat to clean up with the feathers too.

I've got 8253 steps in already. That  doesn't convert to miles because they weren't full strides.

Wednesday morning 3:00a.m.  Sounds like the title of a song.

Mornin y’all.  Insomnia again.  I’ve already been out with the Beeman Raider equipped with a NVD.  Hoping for an Armadillo or a rabbit.  I watched the pasture behind my house for about 45 minutes.  No joy.  I’ll have a look around again before first light.  After first light I’m headed into the Morrison Hammock Wilderness Area WMA for some late season squirrel hunting.

Morning... I'm up too.
Boss had a ruff night last night. She's not been feeling well for the past couple days. I woke up at 3 to find Betty Lou sitting on the edge of the bed. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was watching Boss. She had just let her out and she was fumbling around trying to get settled. That's what she was doing last night as well. She down now and appears to be sleeping well.
She is eating regularly and is able to go out and do her business so that's a good thing. She's just getting old I reckon.
As for today's plan..
More fun with the P-Force. I was able to source the mold to cast the slugs it likes. The NOE 217 30 FN/HP BT. It's an Al 4 cav with pins. The ones I tested yesterday had the full HP and weight between 28 and 29. I have a few hundred of them left and I think I got them from Wayne. CRS runs rampant around here. 
Temps are 41 now and heading for 79 my early afternoon with sunny skies.
Betty Lou mention something about raking and doing some outside clean up today so we'll see how that goes. She wants to be able to see the snakes when they start to get active.

I've got to go see the vampires again this morning. Just call me pin cushion.😡😡 Wellcare finally gave me the civilian doctor I've been trying to get for the last 3 years. They sent out a survey and I was brutal on it stating the that fact.

Why don’t you just have them put in a port Robert?  Might be easier than having them stick you every other day.

Up for real now.  I just made breakfast for me and Belle.  I had three eggs fried over easy, a huge helping of grits, two sausage patties, whole grain toast all washed down with RC Cola!

Belle got the last of the grits and licked the egg yolk off my plate.

Slight change of plans.  The memsahib wants to work in the garden this morning.  We will take the pontoon boat and run up river after lunch.
