Good morning  GTA guys and gals. Up at 0415. I've got a doctor's appointment at 0945. I've been having some aching for the last week or so in my groin. I don't mind admitting the I'm scared what they might find.

Yeah that don't sound good.. I hope it's just a strain and nothing major.

Betty Lou woke me up last night and said Boss lost her balance and fell off the top of the ramp leading out the bar door. It's a good 3' drop to the ground. She slept next to the bed last night and I sneaked by her to come out this morning. A little later I heard her whining, which she often does for attention, I went in to call her out so Betty Lou could sleep. She was slow to get up and limped out to her bed in the living room. I don't see any external damage. She's probably gonna be sore for the next day or so. We'll keep a close eye on her. Poor old girl is getting long in the tooth. Those snake bites have taken their toll on her. I really doubt if she could survive another.
Meanwhile I'm going to add a guard rail so she can't fall again.

Yeah, doesn't sound good to me either. Well it is what it is. I haven't told anyone in my family except my wife and son. I didn't want anyone to worry until I get a diagnosis and prognosis.

Good Morning!

 First, I looked back in the thread and was surprised at my post from yesterday. What is posted is just a quote of my Monday's post. I know I got distracted but, I am not sure how I accomplished that. 

 I know I typed a reply that included that I had woken up at 4:23 somehow that post didn't make it here.

  I woke up at 4:23 AM yesterday and again at 4:23 AM this morning, who set this body clock? LOL 

 Yesterday the weather was unpleasant outside. I did pick up the dog poo, and there was a cutting wind that felt very cold. It was in the high 40’s° at the time but felt a lot colder, I almost went back in and put on a jacket. I just hurried up and finished instead.

 I browsed eBay to see if I needed anything. 

 Starting today, we are expecting some rain. We are supposed to have cloudy conditions with a high near 51°F and a 70% chance of rain, followed by continuous rain all day. Thursday is forecast to bring heavy rain with a 100% chance of precipitation and rainfall amounts between 0.75 and 1.47 inches from what I have seen, which raises concerns for localized flooding in some areas. Rain is expected to persist into Friday before moving on, with improving and sunnier conditions will return on the weekend. Saturday is supposed to be mostly sunny with a high near 64°F and Sunday partly sunny with a high near 70°F.  We are getting alerts and flood advisories for the storm system now.

 I will be staying in most of the day, we have a surprise guest from New Mexico that showed up and spent the night last night.  I'll just try to lay low and stay to myself and hope my wife keeps her occupied until she leaves.

Work today, heavy snow and 15 mph winds forecasted to start right about Quitting time (15:00) then last trough-out the night.
 Snow blower is prepped / fueled for morning if needed.

I just returned home from my Doctor appointment.  I will be scheduled for CT scan in the near future.  Doctor said it wasn't cancer as I had feared.  He is thinking it's a hernia but he didn't feel one during exam.  I have a follow-up appointment after he gets the results from the CT scan.

I breathed a sigh of relief when he said he said it wasn't cancer.  He said I didn't have any of the markers than would suggest it was cancer.

Good news Dan.  If it is a hernia I can tell you that's a pretty easy one these days.  All Arthroscopic surgery.  Not very intrusive.  Usually an out patient procedure and you're in and out in about five hours.  Recovery isn't bad either.  Again, good luck!
