Broke a boot lace this morning and the red wings store don't open till 9 so one annoying loose boot today. Let's see if I can't finish the full rebuild on this Honda rancher today...

What year is the Rancher?  2wd or 4?
I have the 2019 420 2wd. Snorkled, lift 2", 2" oversize wheels and Wild Boar radiator relocated.. Front winch is remote and wired. 16" 3 row led light bar.

It's not mine and it's a 21. I'd never own a Honda quad far to overly complicated. To the point I needed to assemble 4 different special tools just to insal the crankshaft.

Use a zip tie to keep the boot tight until you get another lace.

Good morning, this is our last day here in Missouri.  We have a nephew that is driving back in his new Ram 2500 Pickup tomorrow so we will caravan with him.  We're taking a more southern route home.  We're going down into Texas to Denison, We will meet up with a marine buddy of his for lunch, and then continue and pick up interstate 10 and take it all the way home.  We'll stop at Midland Texas and get a room.  Friday the plan is to get to Tucson AZ, get a room, then Saturday get home early afternoon.

Hangin out in the shop this morning. Staring at 2 projects and wishing it was tomorrow.. when the parts to finish them are due to arrive. 
But on a good note... temps are expected to be in the low to mid 70s.

Up at 0400.  Made the commute to work.  Stopped and grabbed a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich.  Went over to the water and enjoyed them.  Walked/ran through the sand.  Headed back to the shop.  Surfing now and waiting until time to start.

Good morning, a balmy 62° here with dense fog. Picking up the pieces from the flare fallout. Hopefully that will be the last one for a while. Finish making the serpentine belt tool to get the fan belt off the van. Once that is off the rest  repairs will be quick and easy to work on. Just taking my time and enjoying this warmer weather for a minute.

Betty Lou and I went to breakfast at the local diner. Shared pleasantries with the town/county elders. Sheriff West asked if we would take a ride out to his barn. He wants Betty Lou to start doing periodic cleaning in the mancave where the old guys get together for cooking and hanging out and he wants me to fix a couple burned out light bulbs/fixtures.
We rode out and took a look and we'll most likely go back and take care of it on Sunday. I think the 4' fixture just needs bulbs. I have some here to try. If not I'll just replace the fixture with the same ones I used in Nick's barn.
I'll probably take the Avenger in the new Buck Rail tactical setup and cull some of the starlings that invade his martin houses while Betty Lou does the cleaning.
He has a nice Kobalt work bench sitting in one of the lean to's that I might see if I can talk him out of. It needs a new wood surface because the one on it is all swelled from the weather. But it has 2 nice drawers, peg board and a built in light. I have just the spot to put it.

Finish pet sitting and head home. I've got one more 15 minute dog walk to do and feed the dog and the cat and I can head home. Their pet parents are at the Boston airport waiting to board.

I looked at the clock wrong when I got up an hour or so ago. Got myself all woken up... just to figure out how to get back to sleep, Lol. Not much happening today either way, so if I don't get back to sleep it's no biggie.

Woke up at 12am as Betty Lou was coming back to bed after letting Boss out. Managed to go back to sleep until 1am when I heard Boss snoring on the floor next to the bed. I'm not sure when she started running things around here but she certainly did.
She followed me out to the living room and now she's on her bed sleeping like a baby. Makes me want to dump a glass of ice water on her and go back to bed.
