The boss says stay home today so I stays home! I’ve got the 3622 to play with and the 760 to reseal. There’s also the little matter of installing the wood stove in the man shed!
Good advice Bill. I’ve just had a walk around on my property. We had an ice storm last night. I’ve got some big branches down and several trees leaning precipitately under the load. I used to hunt after ice storms in north Georgia. It gets all the little critters stirring. I’m going to top off the Beeman Raider and take Belle for a walk through my permission.

Would have been much easier to sweep straight down into the stove then clean it out. Hopefully only burning clean burning dry wood will reduce cleanouts.
Well I finally got inspired to install my wood stove in the man shed. The shed is 10’X25’ but the stove is a big old wrought iron Franklin stove. It’ll handle logs nearly 30” long. A little bit more than I need to heat the shed but who says I have to build a bonfire? I’m gonna need some more stove pipe and an elbow unfortunately. A previous owner modified this stove to exhaust out the back instead of the top.Once the ice sheets recede and the glaciers melt I’ll head into Hooterville to the hardware store.Right now I’m going to shoot some airguns.
The hot water finally broke loose and I got a much needed hot shower.. woohoo.I was informed that the celebration of life for Killer will be held right here in the barn on Monday. I sure won't have far to crawl home.
