Good morning! I got up at 4:45 this morning after a total of 6 hours and 6 minutes sleep.

 I just planned on hanging out with the dog and cat yesterday... and I got it done!      
 It was a pretty nice day, the high was 73° but, it was a little _windy not bad just breezy and mostly cloudy all day.

 WE had a 28% chance of rain through the night, but everything still looks dry. Today we have a 3-5% chance of rain so it will probably stay dry.

 I am drinking my coffee and need to plan to do something today.

 It is 52°F and forecast to only get to 67°F today. burrr... LOL

Not sure I'm going to do much at all today. I'm wiped out from all I did yesterday. Arms and shoulders are really sore from trying to keep the FJ on the road in some really bad winds. It's a short wheel base vehicle so is really affected by wind. I did get to eat at my favorite fast food place. Yeah, you guessed it, In and Out.🤤

Kris why is a plugged tire a concern on the front? If it's holding air it should be good to go on either front or rear. I've never had issues with plugged tires on front and I've gone 150mph on them.

Brett good job covering the debris with the tarp. A lot of cats could learn a thing or twelve from you. Instead they haul debris with no cover or straps of any kind which allows it to fall into the road and causes other drivers to have tire/car damage.

Thanks Gil.  My understanding is that the law requires the load to be secured and covered.  I was also told that if you showed up the dump without your load at least secured that they will turn you away?  I don’t know if these are written fact but that’s the conclusion I came to so I always secure my load and cover it if there is stuff that can blow out driving down the road.  Better safe than sorry I guess? 

It’s been many many years ago when this happened but someone was driving down the highway and some piece of furniture fell out and it struck another car killing the person.  That is when I remembered a law being passed about securing loads.  I certainly would want to be the one that causes something like that especially when it’s easily preventable.

 Here if it isn't covered and secure they fine you on the spot and then have you dump it. It is about the only thing they do here that makes sense to me.

Once a tire has been punctured the integrity of the tire has been compromised, the risk for blow out is still there. It is a temporary fix until the tire is replaced. Also some manufacturers will void the warranty if plugged. After a while the plug will wear out and leak. I have had to many plugged tires blow on me in the past, I don't trust them. I just replace the tire when I can get it to the tire shop.

 The weather is nice and cool. Eight of the next ten days overnight gets down into the low 40's and Highs are forecast between 64°F - 75°F.

It was 29f when I got up this morning.

I've got to go see the quake er oncologist DR today. I know he's going to push me to start that keytruda junk up again and my answer is NO! Yeah, cure the cancer they can't tell me where it is and kill my kidneys! 🤬🤬🤬
Of course my blood test results from Monday haven't been posted yet.🤬🤬 I guess I'll have to wait to hear it from the quake.

Kris sorry to hear that. I've only had a plug leak on me once but they plugged it again with no issue afterward. I've never had a plugged tire blow on me but in my case is because I buy near $300 tires rated for 186mph that are the best grip one can get without going to track tires which only get 10k miles out of them. I've had two plugs in my front tire and gone over 100mph many times without issue. Is a lot of $ for tires but they've saved my life numerous times too. Cheaper than a hospital stay anyway.

I mowed / raked... ok, I set the deck up and blew the leaves and pine needles off the property here and at the barn. The grass really didn't need cut but I want to keep up with the leaves and pine straw and there ain't no way I could do 2 acres by hand.

I somewhat agree but my home and barn are surrounded by quite large oak and maple trees that shed tons of leaves.    If I didn't clean them up, the leaves would choke out everything, no more grass, vegetable beds or flowers.  Wife really really really wants me to clean up the leaves.     If it was up to me I'd consider running over them a couple times with a lawnmower and letting them decompose in place.    Anyways on Dec 5 we're scheduled to have a tree guy take down the closest 20 oaks.  I'm dreaming about an easy leaf cleanup next year.

We are slap in the woods. I have to keep them cleaned up to have any kind of grass growing and so the snakes don't have places to hide. They blend right in and you don't even know they are there until it's too late. It's not only easier to use the zturn with the deck but it's safer too. I will continue to do it until the trees are bare.

I'll just say that the wife kept asking if I needed to go to the ER. It knocked me on my butt for about a week. Most people don't have any problems with the keytruda but for me it was the worst thing. I could have even put up with being sick but it also was killing my kidneys and that's where I draw the line. I'm not going to do the whole dialysis thing.
