Mornin y’all!  Slept in today because I’m off work.  Two days off then back for four days then two glorious weeks of vacation!

I’ve got an appointment with the patent medicine faker today.  He gets his pound of flesh and I get my drugs.

Tomorrow I have an MRI scheduled to find out if I have another torn rotator cuff.

But I’m going to make the most of it.  The memsahib is going with me to town. We intend to impersonate real grown-ups while we are there.  We’re gonna go to a real swanky place to eat.  The memsahib wants the taco truck and I’m holding out for Whataburger.   That’s haute cuisine on a park ranger’s pay!

Yesterday night I didn't sleep good at all, getting just over 3 hours total sleep due to heartburn. It was strange because my heartburn/GERD meds have been working great until they didn't. I ate some mixed nuts too close to bed time and found out that was a bad idea. Last night I got 5 hours and 32 minutes total sleep, and I feel great and well rested now. 

 I plan on getting outside today and do some yardwork. But first I have to go pickup some silicone adhesive, shop towels, leather conditioner, and some spray grease. Just items I need for different things.

Well, I still didn't get the deck painted 😕. If you can't tell by now I hate painting!😡😡😡 I'd rather sand the deck than paint the deck. Not sure what I'll do today. Heck, I might even paint the deck.😁

I find if I have gerd when I lay down to sleep I need to take some gasX. A half hour to an hour later and I'll burp and good to go to sleep.

It's another unbelievably beautiful day in southern NH.    I guess I'll drop off an EBay package at the post office, then shoot, then rake leaves.   I have a tree contractor coming this afternoon to look at taking out some big oaks that are too close to the house.

I accomplished what I planned/needed to already and decided to go to Desert Hot Springs Spa to swim and relax for a few hours. I'll take the Dodge Pickup and fill it up on the way home at Morongo Indian Reservation Station to get cheaper Diesel too.

I've got to make a run to the transfer station to get rid of the trash and some old shingles. Then I've got to go get a haircut. A high and tight just in time for it to turn 🥶.🥶😁😁

I used to get a high and tight.  These days I just shave the sides to match the top.

Mornin y’all!  Off to the big city again today.  I’ve got an MRI at 0945 and then I’m free for the rest of the day.  There has been some discussion of putting a boat in the water and exploring to the east around Piney Island.  I will see how the day develops.

Hopefully yours is better than the one I had chicken tenders from recently. They used to be real good but now they're pinching pennies to afford their $20hr hires by switching from their more expensive food for cheap bland chicken that pulls out of the bland breading so I'll never eat that from there again. The DQ in the area has em beat by a mile now although they've done the same thing with their ice cream there so blizzards have no vibrant taste anymore hence I stopped buying them too.

DQ disappeared around here about 30 years ago.  Whataburger is still good in this part of Merica'!  In fact it's the best fastfood burger available here.  Won't be long before it's ruined too.

Ain't like they used to be here sadly so no more burgers from there either. Is no loss as I make mighty tasty burgers with way better and thicker meat.

The only DQ I know of is in Flagstaff. Only fast food place I'll eat at now is in and out burgers in Prescott.

No more fast food for me. I had to give it up for health reasons. The only fast I eat now is what runs across my property or on the end of a fishing pole. There is not much around here and what is open charge tourist prices.

Used to go to DQ exclusively for foot long chili cheese dogs. Last time we went they put 2 regular hotdogs on a long bun and tried to hide them under the chili and cheese. It should have been no biggie but it didn't sit well with me. I guess it was better than a footlong hotdog on 2 regular buns.
