Wow... it's like I woke up in a completely different life this morning.
With Betty Lou not yet back from Ohio and Rambo no longer with us I feel like I've dropped into a black hole.
I found myself waiting for the sound of his nails clicking down the hallway and peeking his gray face from the shadows with his ears up waiting for his breakfast kibble and outside potty run.
I think I'm going to need to dive into some house cleaning so Betty Lou don't have to do it when she gets home and to occupy my mind.

Just remember Bill, Boss is probably feeling the loss of Rambo also.

She absolutely is.

Bill that grief ambush will hit many times ahead since the house will no longer be the same but it does lessen over time where it does eventually go away. Right now it's pretty much one steady blow after another but it will get better.

So true.. there will undoubtedly be another, possibly the hardest, blow when Betty Lou gets home. We have not grieved the passing of her mom or Rambo together yet. Both of us have had to go through this virtually alone. We greatly depend on each other for support.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up at 0400, I had my alarm set for 0445. I had to empty out my van yesterday to load up a condenser coil for a big rooftop HVAC unit. I think they’re all nuts, but I didn’t write the job up. Fortunately, the guy that did is going to be there. I have a 2 hour drive to meet him at the job, I’m going to hit the road about 0600.

Bracing for some potential severe weather predicted today. Francine is going to have an impact on us but it's not real clear as to what level that will be. I am sure it will be much worse elsewhere. Mt thoughts will be with those folks.... stay safe.

 Since I was working away from work and only was on site 1/2 hour, I will be going over everything on the farm to see what broke when I wasn't looking. On the bright side the pigeons were happy to see me and flew around wherever I was working waiting for their bird seed treat Someday I may have to reduce their numbers, 3 is enough hanging around looking for handouts LOL

Good morning from glacier national Park KOA. It rained last night but we're drying warm and it's not raining currently we have screen rooms and tents and the camper so we're all good the temperature is 55° f
Breakfast is being fixed I'm not sure what it is but I'm sure it'll be good.
I've already had coffee out of my thormos,
And they're making fresh coffee now

Thanks, Breakfast was a bit of a fiasco, but good in the end. The one tasked with bringing a skillet brought two of the smallest skillets (7 or 8"?) I have ever seen, so cooking for the group was slow and drawn out. We are going to try to go to the nearest town and buy a large skillet today. It is drizzling rain off and on, the temp is 54° f . We all have warm clothes and are having a good time. As they said at camp Granada "we have fun if it stops raining" LOL

We are making the best of it and I'll post pics after I get home, maybe just a few before.

With this storm it is predicted to snow above 6,000' We are camped at 3,400'

We pulled it up with 2 ropes. Fortunately, it was a single row coil, so it wasn’t too heavy. It got a little dinged up, but it’s functional. Seriously, for the cost, they should have replaced the whole unit.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I got up at 0400, I didn’t need to, but I felt rested. I’m finishing up my coffee, so I’ll get ready for work. I’m going to visit my chiropractor on the way out. I have to help another tech replace an evaporator coil in a 5 door cooler or freezer. Not sure what all is entailed to accomplish this, it’s about 10’ long. It’s mostly aluminum, so it ought to be pretty light for what it is. But, I’m guessing we have to take most of the doors off and remove the door pillars.

Just got off work 0700.   Back into work @ 1500 for 32. 

Might try and get the plywood on the roof of the closet…

Put the pool cover on last evening and wore my butt off getting it done right before dark in that hot humidity with no breeze and much straining with the heavy cover. So nice to not have to clean the pool daily now until next year. I'm real sore today from that but surprisingly I was able to put on my socks instead of having to wear sandals all day unlike last year where it took me 3 days to be able to put socks and shoes on after installing the cover. So no more critters and leaves falling into the pool for me to clean out now. Wish I had an expensive automated pool cover but I don't have that kind of $. Got some chores done and errands ran. Now time to mow some.

Betty Lou is expected home some time late this afternoon. Their plan was to leave the Columbus Ohio area early. I haven't talked to her yet this morning but expect to soon.
Meanwhile my plan is to get the house cleaned up. I really haven't made any big messes and kept up with any I did make daily. I kept the dishes washed and the trash taken out as well as what laundry I had.
So today I'll do some dusting and run the vacuum. Maybe open some windows to air things out and burn some fresh scented candles. I don't want the place smelling like old man and old dog (Boss) when she gets here.
This will be the first time we'll be back together since the passing of her mother and Rambo so I'm sure emotions will be high. We have been able to talk each other through on the phone so that has helped.

Got to make a water run this morning. NWS is predicting rain tomorrow so can't take the chance that it actually will 🤣🤣🤣.

Bill, it's good to get all of the greaving done. You don't want to keep it bottled up as it will find a way and it usually isn't good.

Betty Lou got home from Ohio at around 8pm last night. She brought a full pickup truck full of stuff with her. We unloaded the truck, visited a bit then her sister and bil went to a sweet little Victorian B&B we have here in town.
We were up at 3am, had coffee and Betty Lou dove right into sorting and organizing the stuff she brought home. She brought me lots of goodies for the shop.
Her sister and bil will be here around 9 and we'll visit some more, I'll give them the nickle tour, we'll go have breakfast and they will be on their way back to Ohio.
