Good Morning I was awake at 3:07. I tried to sleep until 4:00 but, got up when Hank barked for some reason at 3:35.

After Church today we are headed out of town and North towards ID as soon as the house sitter shows up. 

My daughter the did live it Montana has moved back to ID now close to some of her kids and grandkids. We will be going to Glacier National Park from her place in Idaho, to camp in the Park for a few days.

Howdy y’all!  Up at the crack of noon!  I actually didn’t get to sleep until around 0600 and tossed and turned til about 01100.  It’s drizzling rain today so after I whomp up some vittles I’m gonna go hide in my shed.  Both shoulders are bothering me today so I’m not sure what I’ll be doing.  Maybe I’ll cut some stencils for the graphics mom wants painted on the side of her new camper. I just bought a Speedball Calligraphy pen set so I might practice inking and hatching some.  I haven’t used a quill pen in years and I’m rusty.  There’s a couple of air gun projects to work on too so I won’t be bored.

My mower at my mother's place started and ran good after needing a jump but when I engaged the blades the engine sputtered. The air filter was clean but the fuel filter looked dirty so I changed it but that didn't help. I jumped the battery again to start it but it would die as soon as I removed the cable. Off to the store to buy a new battery then installed it and all was well finally. The old battery was 4yrs old. Surprised it lasted that long.

Dogs went out but didn't eat yet.
Betty Lou should be home sometime this week. She has been staying at her momma's house and doing most all the prep work to get things sorted and the house cleaned out to sell by her self. It's at the point where the siblings have chosen what they wanted to keep and they can let other f&f to come in and pick through the rest before donating the remaining stuff.
She told her brother that she is ready to come home and he said "no, we ain't done yet"     Yeah, that didn't go over well. "No" don't work with Betty Lou. She told him that he was not going to tell her that she couldn't come home to her husband.
She said she will be home by Friday if not sooner. I told her to get out of there before the bitter begins.
Momma had a will and the plan is laid out and fied with a lawyer. The house will be sold at fair market price, the bills will be paid off and the proceeds will be split among the 3. Cremation was prepaid and no funeral. Momma had some money stashed that covered those costs and she doled the rest to the kids before she passed.
Betty Lou has endured enough stress and it's time she walk away while she's still in a good space. I talk to her several times a day and support her 100%.

Bill I bet her brother feels stressed knowing he needs the help but he has to remember she's already been there a long time and everything doesn't have to be settled all at once where she can come back and help later on. She needs time to recupe with you from all that stress then she can go back and help him finish the rest.

Spoke to her a few minutes ago on the phone. She's in surprisingly good spirits. That's the way I would like her to come home. She took it rough there for the first couple weeks. She wants to get as much done as possible but she really wants to come home. She says the plan is to come home Friday and I'm going to giver her that before I start expressing real concern. I think she's she has done way more than her share..
For example, the plan was for the others to come help out today... it's noon up there and nobody has showed up yet.

They all got together after my last post and she told them, they better get in gear because this week is it for her. I guess they made a plan to get it done this week. She told them that she don't mind being there when f&f comes in and picks what they want but she does not want to be there when the remainder of her mom's life gets hauled away.
She said she's worked virtually alone for more than a week to get things organized and it will be up to them to finish it up.
Her sister and BIL are going to paint the 2 upstairs bedrooms when they return from bringing Betty Lou home because the upstairs has been closed off and unused for several years. They are experienced fixer uppers.

Good morning from Idaho!
I am the only one in the house that is up so far. Since they just moved from Montana into this house and everything is not unpacked yet they have to locate all their camping gear first so...

Today while our daughter and her family are going to be prepping/packing for the camping trip to Glacier National park, my wife and I will be going to visit with some of the nearby grandkids and great grandkids.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up around 0500, had coffee, got Ayrabella on the bus for school and now I’m at work. Weather is very pleasant and I’m hoping to get back home at a decent time. I’m at a fitness center that had a remodel. They don’t have all the thermostats setup and don’t even know what controls what. Should be fun, I don’t know anything about this place. So, I don’t know how it was before. 🤪

With Betty Lou not yet back from Ohio and Rambo no longer with us I feel like I've dropped into a black hole.
I found myself waiting for the sound of his nails clicking down the hallway and peeking his gray face from the shadows with his ears up waiting for his breakfast kibble and outside potty run.
I think I'm going to need to dive into some house cleaning so Betty Lou don't have to do it when she gets home and to occupy my mind.
