As usual I didn't take a nap. Now I just have to try to stay up late so I won't be up too early.
 So far I am not tired so I think it will be easy enough?

Boss said I can be late for work , I will go to the bar and wait and have brunch in the process.

I used to eat lunch occasionally in a topless bar called “Mr. Barry’s Boom Boom Room”. They had a traditional “Fee lunch”.

Those caster wheels on the 360z have driven me to the last straw. I went out the other morning and both were flat again. So I ordered tubes and they arrived yesterday (yep, Amazon's private delivery folks delivered on a Holiday weekend Sunday).
I'm going to put the wood burning stove install on hold for a minute and get the tires fixed up so I can mow. Betty Lou's Sister and BIL will be bringing her home in a week or so and I want to get the place cleaned some.
First I'll go out and grab a breakfast sandwich somewhere.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s September already. I woke up at 0700, coffee is done and I’m contemplating what I might do. I’m still recovering from being sick, but I feel a lot better. My wife was worse yet, yesterday. I sorta want to see how she feels when she wakes before I plan to do anything. I might get the line trimming done sometime today. The grass has been too wet to mow, I think I’ll leave the mowing for another day.

Not much of anything today. The side affects of the keytruda are kicking my butt. Low energy,joint and muscle pain. It took 5 days for it to hit 😡. I've gotten real familiar with the throne. Hopefully it doesn't start attacking any of my organs which is another possible side affect.

 Good morning! I was up about 21 hours yesterday, slept 6 hours and now I am ready to relax today but, I am thinking about getting some stuff done and relaxing tomorrow instead. If I am going to work outside I need to get after it because it is currently 75°F with 62% humidity and suppose to get up to 102°F today. The 10 day forecast is triple digits and says 108°F on Thursday and Friday. I am ready for some fall weather.

Stayed outside by the fire until around 2300.  It was a fantastic evening to be out.  I was going to sleep out there under the stars but decided to sleep in the bed.  I slept in until just before 8.  Laid there cozy with Mrs. P for nearly an hour more.

I have some leftover drip coffee and we are out of milk.  Milk is delivered on Tuesdays.  I added some Moka pot coffee to the regular coffee and nuked it in the microwave.  We have some left over powdered milk from another recipe so I added some of that to my coffee and now I have a big mug of that.

Now for the plan of the day…
I don’t really know yet.  I’m really enjoying this long weeekend.  It’s been very refreshing so far.  I actually feel rested and ready to go.  I still have all day today and tomorrow to be refreshed.  I have a list of things to do here at the house  that is a mile long but I really just want to shirk my responsibilities and continue to play and chill.  Think I’ll just play and chill.  I should think about touching up the edges on the kitchen knives 🔪.  I also will get back into the shop and start to figure out a better way of organization in there.  I really could use some more space.  I do have an idea for that but it involves $$$ and time.  I should seriously consider getting it on the list at the very least.

You can sleep outside without critters messing with you? I've thought before about sleeping on the roof without a tent but too many big spiders, centipedes and scorpions ect for that. Same here I have much to do but taking another rest day.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got plenty of rest this weekend, so I got up at 0430. I’m about to grab my second cup o’Joe and then get ready for the day. I don’t know how much work there is, so I’ll have to wait on the dispatchers to get into the office. My wife was feeling much better second half of the day yesterday, so hopefully she’s just a day behind me on putting the sickness behind us.

Boss woke me up at 3:00 barking because Rambo wouldn't move and let her in the bedroom. I thought she followed me in last night and was already in there. But maybe she got up and came out sometime last night.. she does that.
I laid there until 3:30 before I got up and put on coffee.
Betty Lou texted around 4:30 asking if I was up then she called.
The plan today is to grab a shower and something to eat then head out to the shop. The Kodiak is acting like it has a loose connection from the battery to the starter... maybe corroding. So I'll get it in the shop and pull the plastics of and see what it is.
After that I'll probably just organize and clean.
But if I know me I won't be able to just stand and look at the wood stove without doing something with it. I have things I can do without getting on a ladder or the roof.

The kids first day of school starts today around these parts. Making sure things go smoothly in the a.m. then probably catch a few zzz's for a bit. Got mowing to catch up on then a few odds and ends for the afternoon. Hopefully not a long night following that.

 Worked all weekend as the norm this time of year, today will be a half day, followed by another 1/2 day as all I have to do is deliver apples to be pressed for cider, then pick up and deliver the cider the next morning.

Finish clearing out the spot for the chicken pens and a place for me to work on my truck in the shade. Do a little planting in the garden later in the week weather permitting. Not much else today.

I was up until 3:30 AM, just not sleepy? I woke up and got up at 7:45 AM.

We plan on going to our youngest daughters house to visit and eat with them later today.

Other than that try to stay cool again.

Yesterday a grandson his wife and a great grandchild came over to visit us so I didn't do anything else all day.
That means the mowing STILL needs to be done.  It's already 78°F and forecast to get to 103°F today but, I might go mow for an hour or so as soon as I finish my coffee.

Still have some boom sticks to clean.  That is quite a chore.  My cleaning routine had been spray lube and a wipe down.  Some of the classics that we have were starting to malfunction.  That’s a clear sign of needing a cleaning.  I had been procrastinating on that task for a loooong time. 

It’s the last day of my extended weekend.  It’s been SO refreshing.  We don’t have a plan for today.  Back to the grindstone tomorrow.  I’m already scheduled OT every end of my work weeks until the middle of October.  Every other week starting this weekend is a 32 hour shift at the end.  I’ve been on this same pace since February.  There is still so much that I need to get done around the house.  I would hire some of it out but getting people to show up or do a decent job is getting hard to find.  The good ones are already busy and can’t get them scheduled anytime soon plus they charge BIG $$$.  I’m just one dude earning a living so I have a hard time giving my money to someone for something that I know that I am capable of doing myself.  It’s one of those crazy things I guess.  I’m done whining now.  😜😆😎
