Kris I do the same with tuna or sardine cans tying them to the back of the trap but with the wire around the can not thru it as I've never thought about drilling holes in them like I've seen people do when trapping for hogs with feed in plastic buckets to prevent them from quickly eating up all the bait. I even caught a coon once with a white onion and he didn't even eat it! I'll try the holes next time and see how it goes. I don't have the ez open rear hatch so I have to use a grab tool to place the can in the back of the trap. I'll look at those HF traps thanks.

 I plan a short work day, as this will be my weekend for the next 2 months. I will pick up the cider I had pressed, and head for home after unloading the cider. Will have decide depending on weather what I will shoot today, I soon must get some trigger time with the Hatsan .510 Piledriver, along with checking out my new to me xbow.

8:45….Done.
1. Checked weight, blood pressure and blood sugar.
2. Took meds with V8
3. Breakfast: Mixed fruit, bacon, eggs, home fries, toast, coffee.
4. Cut and trimmed the grass and the bushes.
5. Took a shower along with the other two S’s.
6. Now, relax until everyone else goes to work and I can shoot my air rifles..

I got up at 6:14 AM today.
I have a grandson that has a plumbing company in Idaho coming over and we are planning to re-pipe out by the Well and replace some of the old plumbing that goes into the house too. Some of the PVC pipe is brittle and I think it is time to do it before it becomes an emergency problem one day.

 I am sure he will do most if not all of the work.   

 That grandson is back down here staying at his mother-in-laws house while they take care of some estate work that needs to be done.

I was going to town with the memsahib so she can pick out a new washing machine.

Turns out that’s not how things are done in the modern era.  Apparently big box stores do not stock appliances anymore.  They will be happy to ORDER you one though.  We can go look at a display model and talk to a salesman but the earliest we can get a washer is the middle of next week.  Y’all go ahead and do business with those people it just encourages them to get sorrier and sorrier.  I told the CS rep at Lowe’s that I’d just go to the used appliance store.

Dan that reminds me of my uncle's house since it had that old thin pvc that would break outside every winter because he never covered the lines. I don't miss fixing those. He needed to do what you are but didn't want to turn loose of any money to do it. Now that he's passed on his daughter lives there living with leaks all the time that she won't fix in any way as she'd rather blow $ staying high on drugs because priorities so there are usually puddles around her house from broken lines underground because she thought it was fine to drive over them with her truck after her dad told her not to. Some people's children.

The well plumbing is done, the parts cost almost $800. 
I was kind of shocked at the prices of 1 1/2" pipe and fittings.

Up at 3am this morning.
Made coffee, soaked the foot in epsom salts for an hour then took a shower.
Did the few dishes I had in the sink while the dogs ate.
I had got up at around midnight and had a piece of raisin bread toast and peanut butter w/milk.
I need to get dogfood so I'll make a run into Troy this morning.

Cleaned out the boat garden and get read for replanting this morning. Finish cleaning up area for the chicken pens, pull one camera to recharge it's battery. Hopefully the rain will hold of this afternoon, it's been cutting my day short lately.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday & Labor Day Weekend! I got Rona-Like sick Thursday afternoon and I’ve pretty much been in bed since. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe, but not sure what I’ll do until I get back to feeling better. I’m supposed to be on call this weekend, but I got a couple of guys to cover me. Pretty sure I’m just going to take it easy.

Not sure what I'll do today now. I had a plan kinda laid out until I got a call from Betty Lou up in Ohio telling me her Momma had just passed. I was shocked at how it affected me having lost my Mom some years ago the same way.
Think I'll just sit here a bit and it all settle.
