Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 0100, went back to bed… got up at 0445 and in a couple minutes I’m going back to bed. I called out sick today, gastro issues… not a big deal, just not well enough to go to work.

Bill, I hope Betty Lou stays calm and gets through til her travel time and travels go well too. I’ll keep her and family and you in my prayers.

Thanks John ... I'm doing my best to keep her occupied but she's pretty good at keeping herself busy. It's just when she gets to 5 or 6 texts and phone calls a day when she gets anxious.
This morning I looked back on some of the funny experiences we had together and posted here on the GTA. We shared some belly roll laughs. It was good.

No plans not quite. Flexibility is more like it. Mid winter blues here. Grey skys and cold and depressing and a sense of entropy.  We are in a price meltdown. Butter 10 dollars a pound. Prices for everything just going up and some businesses reporting record profits.
To make matters worse I haven't shot a rabbit in weeks. Mac is now 9months old  needs a lot of exercise. He is so eager that taking him rabbiting is pointless. I like run him off the lead in the paddocks and he is a hunting chase dog who has a lot to learn.
There you go Just talking about Mac has cheered me up a lot.

Ps he is head strong with his own personality. The world was put here just for him.

Hugh, I am the opposite of you with the weather. The rain and heat is unbearable during the day this time of the year. I don't like being in the house, it drives me nuts. I have a dog that has turned into a good squirrel dog. He will tree one and sit under the tree and bark until I show up for removal duty. I miss one the other day and he gave me that look of " you missed didn't you". He sulked for some part of the day.

Sounds like most of the teenagers now days. Heck, it sounds like teenagers through out time. 🤣😂🤣

Morning...
Today's plan is to putter in the shop while Betty Lou preps for her 10 day trip to Ohio to spend time with her momma.
Her flight leaves Montgomery (45 miles from here) tomorrow morning at 11:20 am so I'll get her there an hour and a half or so early.
We'll stop and grab a bite to eat some place on the way.
When I get back in town I'll pay the bills and do some grocery shopping for myself for the 10 days. I don't need much because Betty Lou has spent the week prepping and freezing meals for me.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up at 0430, I’m feeling better. Ayrabella went off to school this morning and I’m at work. I’m looking forward to getting through this week already. We’ve gotten a good amount of rain and the temps have cooled off a couple digits.

Yep... she's a keeper. Had to throw a few back before I caught this one.

Done running around the county. I had to pick up mail, get car tags, vote the crooked ones out, go to the other end of the county to get a boat ramp permit. Eat some lunch and piddle in the shop until it cools down to work in the yard some.

Ooh there’s a scary image!

Mornin y’all!  Up with the pups this a.m.  Seems a little cooler today.  Lots to do.  Gotta finish the chronograph testing of the 3622 and then install a steel breech and do it all over again.  I might head out to the sand quarry and do some long range tests if the wind stays down.

 Dang it is Wednesdays and I have not planned a bloody thing all week

Morning..
Headed for the airport in Montgomery in about an hour. We'll stop and grab a bite to eat on the way and get there about 1 1/2 hour early for check in. We could have done the check in online and stream lined the process but this is her first time on a BIG plane and we wanted to give her the full experience.   
Once I see her plane off the ground I may hit a pawn shop or 2 in Montgomery before heading back home. See if I can pick up a second router for the router table. Well, at least that my excuse for seeing if I can find anything airgun related. 
We don't get to Montgomery very often so it will almost be like a new experience.
Once I get home I'll see what all Betty Lou has prepared for me to eat while she is gone and decide what else I might want and make a shopping list.
That out of the way, I'll have a look and potential projects I can do to keep me out of trouble and make a list of what I might need for those projects.
