Good morning, The weather forecast today is partly cloudy and cooler, just reaching a high of 96°F. The Humidity is starting out at 35% on my back deck right now and is forecast to drop to 19% today but, our current humidity is 13% lower than the forecast says. So it looks like the clouds will be adding more shade than humidity. 

 I am going to get outside for a bit after I down my coffee. I'll start by picking up dog poop and then just look for some stuff to do out there for a while, maybe hand wash my Pickup? It's 74 degrees right now at 6:33 AM.   

If I wash the Dodge pickup truck we may even get an un-forecast shower?    It does seem like there is a correlation between washing the vehicles and precipitation, LOL.

Woke up to a very light rain this morning. Looks like it rained some last night.🎉🎉 Might drag out the weed wacker and do a little yardwork. It's not suppose to get out of the high 80s today so that helps. Made the mistake of turning on the TV this morning.😡😡😡

Morning.... well, sorta.
Woke up at 1:30 and got up to answer the call of nature. I knew if I went back to bed I wold just toss and turn and wake Betty Lou so I came out to see how the GTA World was doing. I'll go back to bed shortly for a couple hours.
Bubba called yesterday and said they were coming to pour the concrete floor in the barn today. He said the nobody was available to watch them and asked if I would. He said he would stop by on his way to work this morning and give me the cash to pay them when I am satisfied that the job is done right. He said it will take three truck loads to pour the floor and maybe a little more for the apron so he will include a couple hundred more if needed. He offered to pay me $50 just to watch them which I declined. Heck, I was going to go watch them anyways. Probably one of the most exciting thing to happen around here in some time.

 I will be doing more road work around the farm I have not measured the total distance they all cover, But my guess is 1.5 - 2 miles, that includes the paths and pedal cart track in the playground. Next week we open to the public

Made the final payment on the 420 Rancher atv this morning. I received the e-mail reminder for the payment this month stating that the final payoff, if made today, would be $58. Well, why wouldn't I ? I hit the pay button and paid it off. I thought I had 2 payments left. That will put $136 back in the monthly kitty. With that we now own every thing we have flat out. Feels good to be totally debt free. That was the final goal in the retirement plan. Now we can add that to the "what if" fund.

Didn't do anything yesterday 😕. Right after I feed the dogs their breakfast I'm going to go down to the meadow and start moving dead trees to the burn pit. It's suppose to stay over cast and fairly cool today with a high of 88. We'll see.🤔. It'll be the first yard work since my surgery so I'll see how my right arm pit does. Doc took 6 lymph nodes out of it and in doing so severed a few nerves.

Debt free is awesome Bill congrats! I've done my best to stay so as well. Most guys my age can't say that.

Only thing I still owe on is the house. Congratulations Bill! It does feel great when you know everything thing you have is yours!

Good morning!
I woke up wide awake at 3:30 AM but I forced myself to stay in bed until 6:30. I probably should have just gotten up.

Today's forecast is "Abundant sunshine, High 97F, With 20% Humidity, Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph."

I was outside for a while this morning and it was very nice. It is 87°F at 11:07 with 29% humidity and a 2-4.88 MPH breeze at my place.

I supervised the 30 yd concrete floor being poured in the barn this morning from 8:30 to 11:30. There was no place to get out of the sun and heat. I felt bad for the crew doing the work but I reckon they are used to it.

Yeah, it's just going to be a party and toy barn. Probably a basket ball hoop, pool table, cornhole boards and a bar. Bubba just built a new 24 x 24 building at his house for working on vehicles. It will also have a paint booth in it.
Besides, these kids are in their mid to late 20's they are tougher than us old guys. Maybe later he'll have it ground.

Good morning GTA. It's finally Friday, also trash pickup day and it's time to cut the grass. Up at 0436 this morn, dreading the heat BUT it's not supposed to be as hot today so that's good. I'm gonna start at first light.  It's 72° and 96% humidity right now, high is 96° today and the forecast show a very humid and uncomfortable day but the humidity will be dropping throughout the next day or two.

The main goal today is to stay cool.
Yesterday it got up to 105f with a feels like temperature of 7734f (read upside down)

I watched some Olympic events yesterday, or what was offered on cable, and saw a sport
called "Hand Ball"
It looked to be the same as soccer aka. Football, but you could catch the ball and throw it.
And yes, it was just as boring as soccer.

Up at 5:30 and made coffee.
I'm baffled by some of the Olympic sports. I mean Break Dancing.. really?
Anyways...
It's time to mow again. I'll get that done first thing this morning before Ma Nature turns the big oven on.
Next we'll  browse the property for stuff that qualifies for the dump. Most of it is already on the trailer. We're thinking of doing a day ride at one of the ATV parks Sunday and tomorrow is free dump day. We need to unload the trailer so we can load the ATVs on it.
I also want to look into replacing one of the tires on that trailer.. it's looking pretty worn.

 Hope to wrap up the farms road work today, may end up composting 40 or so giant straw bales that rotted in storage over winter, these are used to make huge straw castles for the kids to break a limb on.

Finish getting the stump up then fix the plumbing, Already unloaded one vehicle full of feed and moved it with the other so they are out of the way. I had to bomb the yard for mosquitoes first thing this morning so I can get this mess done. Yep, hit the ground running.
