I'm taking my 93yr old Mom to a scheduled doctors appointment to follow up with
the results of labs taken last week.

But other than that it's hit and miss raining today and I'll try to get some target practice or at least
some plinkin' in.

I have the next 4 days off work.  Going to play pool with pops today 1000 hrs.  I started to straighten the shop up and that will continue later today.  We shot PBs this past Monday so I have a whole arsenal that needs to be stripped, cleaned and relubed and stored. My car is super dusty inside and out so I need to wash that.  Not sure that I’ll do all of these things today but it’s on the list for the next 4 days.  My wing is healing and getting stronger every day.  I’ll get the stitches out on Monday, I think.  It’s a post op appt so I’m hoping the stitches come out.  Other than that I’ll just chill with my peeps and do whatever we do.  I think we have a bike race tonight so that will happen.

Wow, last 2 surgeries I've had they've used glue instead of stitches.

I don’t know how they determine what they use to keep an incision closed.  This is what they did on my elbow plus they removed a ganglion cyst in there.  They also cut my wrist open to decompress the ulnar nerve where it gos to the hand.  Not sure what that procedure looked like.

At least it wasn't staples!!!! For my second hernia surgery the doctor stapled it shut. That freaked me out 😱😱😱. I'm a real baby when it comes to needles and the staples in my mind at the time were a bunch of needles. I ended up taking them out my self 😳😂😂😂. When I went in for the follow up Apt the nurse said I guess you're here to get your staples out. I told her I already took them out. She gives me the look like WT#? 🤣🤣 When the doctor walks in he he says, good morning doctor Robert! Lol 😆😆

 I have never had staples. I have both stitched my own cut shut and taken out stitches too. It sure beats waiting for hours in the ER to get stitches and since I could see bone it needed to be stitched.

I got the zipper. And that fine line to the left of the glove is connected to a morphine balloon that lasted a few days. When the balloon was empty the told me to pull the line out of my neck. Surprisingly it didn't hurt like I expected. It just felt weird. I could feel it coming out.

LOL, that's never happened with me before. Anyway I've been back on my regular routine. My headaches are usually weather related, when barometric pressures change, we've had a combo of fair sunny skies with afternoon thunderstorms for the last week.

I have two daughters that experience the same types of headaches.
Funny thing it doesn't seem to effect my arthritis.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got up at 0500. I’m about to grab my second cup o’Joe. I got all my line trimming done yesterday after work. Today I plan on getting the mowing done early. Maybe shoot some airguns later.

Good morning. Up at 5:00 had breakfast. I'm dreading mowing, with the afternoon thunderstorms every day for at least the past week or 10 day the grass has really grown.  I'm watching for daylight and as soon as I can see I'm starting. My mower is 14 years old it's probably gonna need replacing soon, hopefully I can get through this season.
James I feel for you brother, Arthur is no friend. Well I better get off and head out.  John I hope all goes well with your mowing.

Morning y'all..
I woke up about an hour or so ago. Fed the dogs and got coffee. I don't know if it was me snoring or the dogs but someone chased Betty Lou to the spare room sometime through the night. Boss likes to wake up in the night and whine until someone rubs her old head. Sometimes she wants out and sometimes she's just being a pain.
Think I'll ride the Kodiak through the trail to the barn and open the trail back up from branches and limbs that the storms have knocked down. When I reach the barn I'll see if the grass needs cut. Next I'll come back and maybe do some yard work around here. I did get out yesterday after noon and clean up some of the messes I made with recent projects. I also got some of the things put back in the box on the Kodiak that live in it. I keep an ax, a bow saw, a tire pump, straps and a few hand tools in it.

 Got the lawn mowed, big Collins Fire Dept picnic this weekend so had to even the grass out a bit, lest it has grown all season.
Staying inside for the heat of the day maybe a nap, it has been a hectic couple weeks here.
 Will do some indoor shooting and tinkering, may take it outside when the sun cools down.

Going to bathe our last of the dogs today and we'll be done until?? She's going to be the hardest one because of her coat. She's a German shepherd.
