I came in from the shop to get a cold drink and wipe the sweat off my brow and Betty Lou was on the phone with her momma. They were cutting up with each other as usual. If nothing else, it's good medicine.

It's not that hot but that 92% humidity is crazy. I sure don't feel like I took that shower this morning. I'm up to 2 showers a day now... one in the morning and one after I settle in for the evening before bed.
The battery didn't show again today. It's been hung up just 40 miles north of here. Another unrelated item is hung in Memphis. 4 days stuck on both and both are now reported "arriving late" on tracking.

Mornin y’all.  My mom fell last night and broke three ribs. She’s eighty five so it’s kinda serious.  We were at the emergency.room til 0530.  The ER is becoming one of my hangouts.

Mom is stable and they are trying to get her BP down. Im still half sick, sleep deprived, and my trick shoulder is killing me.  Headed for work in a few minutes.  Fortunately (?) I’m on the late shift today.

Wow! Prayers that Betty Lou's mom's continuing recovery, also prayers for Sam's mom's injuries and recovery as well as you Sam. Yours seems to be dragging out.

 I was up until about 2:30 and then was in bed until almost 8:00 AM today. The mailman brought my computer memory upgrade I ordered last week so, that's done now.

It's 101°F with a real feel of 105°F, it is another good afternoon to stay inside!

Now it 108°F with the real feel in town 118°F but, it is 105°F with a real feel of 112°F at home. Yep, it's good to be inside.

Betty Lou's momma called yesterday. She is at home and resting. She had an eventful day with receiving the news at the hospital and all the family members that gathered at her house later. She told Betty Lou that she feels fine but she is just tired from all the activity from the day.
Betty Lou retreated to the bedroom for some alone time and I gave her that time. She soon came back out and was much better. We're not sure what the plan is from here. We'll continue to prepare for whatever may come next.
Mom Betty is that last of the parent figures we have left.

Thanks for all your prayers.  Mom is home, taped up and a little worse for wear but she's tough.  The memsahib and number one daughter are looking after her.  I'm sore and tired but seeing some light at the end of tunnel.

Good morning, I awoke at 5:30 after 4 1/2 hours of sleep and tried to sleep some more until 6:30 and then gave up and got up. I am working on drinking my coffee now.

It's 75°F and the forecast today can be summed up by saying more of the same, Hot!

 As soon as I get my coffee down I plan on going to town in my '69 GMC and filling it with gas, since I have siphoned it dry for gas for the lawn tractor. I use it as gas storage to avoid trips to fill the gas can and to keep fresher gas in it since I don't drive it all the time. The only down side to that is the engine it it needs higher than 87 octane so I am unnecessarily using a higher octane in the lawn tractor than it requires. I think the convenience is worth it though.

 Other than that I have no plans except Bible Study tonight.

I just got back from the gas station, it is 92°F but feels like 94°F. Oh, I wish my old Pickup had AC. I have thought about adding an aftermarket unit but as little as I need to drive it in the hot months it is hard for me to justify spending the money on it. That's my cheapskate side!

To get 4 gallons in the gas can and fill the truck it cost $101.11@ $4.15 per gallon for 89 octane. that was driving  a mile and a half past the nearest station, it is a Chevron that is currently $505.9 a gallon for 89 octane.
I should have just filled the gas can with 87 for the lawn tractor but, to make it easier I just selected 89 to start with and thought I would only have to pay once. Wrong I did the gas can first and they have the pumps limited to $75 so I had to run my card a second time to finish filling my truck anyway. 

At least I was able to pay at the pump and didn't have to wait in line inside. I just got a little grumpy because it made me pay 35 cents extra AND BE IN THE HEAT LONGER! The unnecessary inconvenience and time in the heat was the main irritation!

It's suppose to get up to 98 today but as of 0943 it's only 75.🎉🎉🎉👍 It's been overcast all morning so I'm hoping it stays that way. Just going to be doing a little straightening around the house but nothing strenuous. My right arm pit is swollen because I haven't been taking it easy like the doctor said. 😂

Just a bit slow going this morning. We decided to make some changes to the bar yesterday. The bar sat between 2 posts in the middle of the room and didn't make the best use of the space. We took it out and moved it to a better location and it really opened up the room. Of course we were compelled to take the new bar location for a test ride. Between us we consumed 2 12 packs of mini Bud Lights and a qt. and a half of my apple pie creek water.    We haven't drank like that in quite so time and our immunity to the affects was low.
Not a full on hangover... maybe a sloth over.

Good Afternoon GTA! I was up at 0430, 2 cups o’Joe and I had another cup at my 0600 meeting. I’m at work changing a compressor in a 5 ton package unit air conditioner. It’s on the ground, so my van is close. It says it is only 88*, but it sure is humid. This the only thing I’m planning on for today.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday; it’s Friday Eve!!! I woke up at 0230 but went back to sleep until 0430. I’ve had 2 cups o’Joe and I’m getting ready to rollout to work. I have another compressor to replace, this time on a roof at a restaurant… Cava; I suppose lunch is already figured out for me while I’m there.

Good morning, it is still morning on the west coast. I got up 5 hours ago, had my coffee, and I got the Rattlesnake I killed last night skinned as I had planned to do. I goofed of a little too much this morning so, it was hot (97°F) on our back deck where I did it by the time I was done.

No, I decided not to this time. I like the way the skin looks though so I put in the effort to skin it. I put the carcass out for the birds.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday, we made it! I got up at 0400. I’m finishing up my coffee and getting ready for work. I will visit with my chiropractor on the way out. I have a blower motor to replace in a package unit air conditioner. Not sure after that, I wouldn’t mind getting home a little earlier than usual though.

Good morning gang. I hit the floor at 4:30 this morning, I haven't felt good the last couple of day and I can't tell if I'm any better. I just took a vote, I'm staying on the couch again today. Grass with just have to wait.

I didn't drink a single cup of coffee yesterday, that tell you how I felt, I'm a 5 to 8 cup a day guy.
