Good Saturday morning GTA! I slept until 6:20 AM. I’m having my coffee too.
 
  It is supposed to be Mostly sunny with a stray shower or thunderstorm being possible. High 99F with the humidity starting at 72% now and  dropping to 28% at peak high temp this afternoon, winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.

  My wife distracted me and had me doing some things with her yesterday including errands so, again my plans for today are to dust my books, book shelves, and desk.
 Basically do a good cleaning of my office/man cave. It will probably take me 4-5 hours with pulling all the books down and putting them all back on the shelves neatly in order again. I have four more books on their way here and will need to rearrange my books slightly to fit them in where they need to go. I will also do my semi-annual cleaning the dust out of my desktop computer to make sure it can run cool as possible. I will probably get caught up in chasing a squirrel or two with wiping down all the airguns stuff too, if I do that I won't get done today though...   

 Oh well, there is all summer where I'll be mostly inside most afternoons.

Sam I stocked up on some bottles of vanilla rum today so that with iced chocolate milk tonight will take the leftover physical pain away that my supplements didn't catch. That cinnamon spiced rum goes good with chocolate milk too.

Working 16 today.  Mrs. P rolled in to work with me this AM.  I shirked my responsibilities at work and enjoyed an easy morning of quiche, coffee a twice baked almond croissant and the company of my lovely bride at the beach.  We walked and talked and solved the world’s biggest problems amongst ourselves.  Finally the heavy weight of power outages, fires, switching and general public safety made me succumb and I wished my bride a heart felt farewell and into the trenches I went.  Just now starting round 2.  I’m going the distance

My plan for today was started at 0615 and finished at 0845. Trimming my yard with a 2-cycle Husgavarnia string trimmer. I went through two spools of .090" cord and 2 tank fulls of fuel mix. And was stung once by a yellow jacket. Ouch! Not a dry thread when I finished. Grabbed a shower and retreated to my recliner and enjoyed a cup of coffee while watching my toes cramp on both feet.

It's been my plan for some time now to do some swapping around with the upgrades on the 4 wheelers to better suit there intended roles.
The Rancher 420 5 speed manual shift.
It's a 2 wheel drive that I put a 2" lift kit on, 2" over size tires, a snorkel kit, relocated the radiator to the top of the front rack and added a winch. Clearly a trail and playing in the mud bike. I had also put a large utility rack and box on the back. Removing that will make the bike more sporty and agile.
The Kodiak 450 Hi/Low/Reverse auto shift.
It's a 4x4 with 2" over size tires (12" wide in the back and 8" in the front). It also has a winch and the large box on the back (no large rack). Clearly the work horse.
The Rancher is in the shop right now and I'm going to pull the large utility rack and box off of the back. It will get a set of Kolpin gun grips on it. A cooler can be strapped on the back rack for adventures on the trail. 
Next the Kodiak will come in the shop and the box will come off the back and move to the front rack for tools, straps and whatever might be needed for the task at hand. Then it will get the large utility rack on the back for carrying large items such as cut logs out of the woods and moving other larger items around the property.
That's the plan. Most importantly all this work will be done in the air conditioned shop.

I also have a hand tire pump, a tire patch/plug kit, a can of fix a flat, a jump box and a simple set of tools for minor trail side repairs that go in the box. Another set of Kolpin gun grips for the back.
Both bikes have 16" LED light bars on the front and bluetooth BOSS 500 watt water proof speaker tubes that can be put on or taken off easily.

Stay out of the heat, clean up the shop some. Managed to put a scope on the factor and air it up. Still holding air this morning. Round up all the gun testing goodies. One good thing about this rifle is I will be able to tune it with out tearing the gun apart. Ordered a better scope for it yesterday so that will be here mid week. Then figure out which DFL lcd I want on it to shush it down some more. Just making the best of a scorching day.

You got that right... the flat screen for streaming sporting and outdoor adventures on and a fridge for liquid refreshments makes even a better hang out. 
Today the Nascar Pocono race will be the feature.

pretty basic in my shop too although I do have two decadent luxuries.  Air conditioning and a WIFI booster. The AC became a necessity this summer.  I must be getting old.

I don't have a shop,    I do have 3 shady carport areas to work under here and one at our place in town if need be but, that doesn't make them cool places in our summer months or warm on cold days either. I get by and I am not complaining, maybe just a wee bit jealous sometimes. 

Living on the Church's 5 acre property out of town is a great blessing though, even without a garage or shop!

I have a shop, a fan and a heater.  WiFi signal hits out there from the house so that’s good for streaming music or video.  G

The small 5000 btu a/c unit struggled to keep up in the 21' x 21' vaulted ceiling shop today. Even with fans running to move the air around. I sweated until my clothes were soaking wet through and through. Didn't help to open the 7' roll up door a couple times to move 4 wheelers in and out. I think this was the hottest and most humid day this year.. so far. 

Had to laugh at Betty Lou... she was outside washing and cleaning 4 wheelers. She came in the shop soaking wet. I told her to take a break because she was sweating too much. She said it wasn't sweat, she sprayed herself with the hose to stay cool. Sometimes I think she's smarter than me.

My shop AC was staining to keep a 12x24 shed cool yesterday. It is just plain hot this summer. Not much going on today. A little house cleaning, some laundry, clean up the shop some more before it gets to hot to stay out there.
