We rarely get any snow on the ground. The dog water dishes and any puddles will freeze over night from time to time  but it don't staay froze long. I have to drip the faucets a few nights out of the year. The normally damp air gets really cold.. more so than dryer air.

Yep, the dog water outside doesn't stay frozen very long here. Of course it doesn't melt the dogs will knock over the bowl and be running around the yard playing keep away with a big round chunk of ice.😂🤣

I'm going to do a little more patching on the garage foundation. The actual patching isn't hard it the cleaning the area first that's the b@#$&@s. I have to take a wire brush and scrub on it to get any loose creat off along with 16 years of dirt. Do a 5 or 6 foot section at a time.


The wife's pushing me to get as much done as I can before I go into surgery Thursday. I guess she's thinking I won't survive.😜😂🤣😂🤣😂

Got a wire brush bit for the drill? Heck of a lot easier than brushing by hand. Don't they have powered floor scrubbers you can rent to do that quickly?

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 0530 and I’m having coffee. I don’t have a job on me yet, but I’m sure we’ll have work to do and I have parts on my van for quoted work. We have a pretty good chance for rain this afternoon and maybe it’ll rain overnight into tomorrow. We could use some more rain.

Up at 4:30. Made coffee and got a shower. I haven't even checked the weather report because I don't anything outdoors planned for the day anyways.
I think I'm going to have a look at my tethering options today. I have a 2260psi 30 minute fire fighter's CF tank that I'm thinking of using on a 2k fill gun. I have the FD-PCP, Betty Lou's highly modded Maxi and a couple legos converted to hp. I can set the auto stop on big red at 2k then top the guns off to 2k with the CS3 to start out with.
I also have 2 scuba tanks.. 1 as 80 c ft and one at 100 c ft. I can fill those to 2k as well.
Then I have the 30 minute CF 4500 and a 60 minute CF 4500. If I find all this worthy I might have a look at investing an inline regulator of some sorts. Pretty sure I can find something to sell to fund one.

So much for trying out your new pink floaties huh Ron. I'll be happy when it gets above Louisiana, these storms have been known to back out and tear up the Gulf coast. I hate when they move slow, more mess to clean up.

For today install flashing around the fruit trees and fish cleaning shed, cook more rocks to set the stabilizer, and then mow the grass AGAIN!

I just got through testing out the accuracy of Eve after putting on a SvBony 3-9X32 scope.

Distance 10m (33'), did 10 shots with one flier.

I think it will work out all right.

Been kinda sick the last 3 days.  Thought it was a cold but wonder wife and I just tested positive for covid.  Guess I'll be napping and drinking fluids for a few more days.   I sure do miss shooting.   Haven't shot anything at all for almost 3 weeks.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I woke up at 0430 by my alarm. I have a service meeting at 0730 and it’s still raining this morning. I suppose I didn’t really need to get up this early, but I should straighten up my van a little before I roll down the road. The rain should probably quit in a few hours, but I like the lower temperature we should have today.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I woke up at 0430 too John, I normally wake up anywhere from 0400 to 0530 rarely after that. I can't remember the last time I set an alarm. We have a 40% chance of rain this morning, it's 79° already 100% humidity.  I hope we get some relief from the high temperature today, but after today no rain forecast until next Monday.

I also woke up at 4:30 this morning... must be a GTA thing.
I'm the same Dan... between 4:00 and 5:30. Sometimes earlier but rarely later. I go to bed between 9:30 and 10:30. I seem to always wake up around midnight and it takes an hour or more to go back to sleep. I've never slept more than about 6 hours a night.
No real plan today but I'll find something that I forgot I need to do.
Other than a cool down, the weather looks crappy.

Good morning if you like it hot and sticky with rain. Hit the ground early this morning. Blood work first thing, check mail, and mow grass in between the rain. Then retire to the shop and finish a stone that I have been cutting on, it's a free form style cut so it is going to take some time to complete.

I do mostly cabochons for now, still learning the facet end of it. The stone in the pics is known as Labradorite.

When I got up at crack of 0800 it was already 84f out 🥵 and it's on it's way to 102f. 103f tomorrow! It's looking like the monsoons are going to start Friday night so temps will be about 10f lower next week.👍👍 We're still not going to get very much rain.
