No I'm not; I'm just dreaming I am writting on the Site and complaining about a Vendor, seems to be my roll in life.

Afternoon y’all!  I was up til 0400 this a.m. drawing. It looks hot and clear today but it’s probably going to be humid again still.  i tried to paint yesterday but the humidity messed with everything.  I got all the prep done to paint so if the humidity will abate some I’m going to try it again today. 

The boss man asked me if I would forego my holiday weekend and work the fourth.  I said yes because we are severely short handed and all three of the new hires are green as grass.  Tomorrow promises to be a giant Romeo Foxtrot.  I’m expecting a blazing dumpster fire three ring circus train wreck on roller skates with a large side of bad craziness.

Good Morning and Happy 4th of July 2024.
Up at 4:30 this morning and made coffee. Nobody else up yet so I'll enjoy the time with my thoughts and ponder plans for things to do.
After a bit of that I'll hit the shower and head out to the shop. First on the list is to get the last sheet of plywood down on the floor. I have a few things to move out from where it goes such as my large roller tool box, then move them back when complete.
Next will be to clean back up and reorganize. It's great to be able to move around in there without the boards moving up and down under my feet. If I had the money I would rip all that out and pour a concrete floor.

Happy Independence Day to all the Americans!

Today's plans are to repair the water leak in the camper (pex), then mow the front yard... all before the heat sets in.

Then going to a pool party at our friends Mike & Lynn... ( coincidentally nicknamed "Bill & Betty" not by me)




Followed by a late evening here in the back-yard watching fireworks from 3 directions on the horizon with some beverages.

Yep, Happy 4th.. Rambo's favorite day of the year... NOT!!  He'll be backed up in some safe dark corner when the booming starts.
As for us... we'll avoid all the fools and idiots in our own private bar. We'll step out on the back ramp to watch the firework display from the Venue at the Runway just behind us. Nick usually has something going on with all his buddies at his place as well. Their fireworks come in the form of muzzle flash than anything else. I have a very large cache of 12ga. ammo left over from the days of the turkey shoots here on the property so I can return fire.

You need some poster board to shoot them at. Who knows. maybe you could call it art and sell them.

Not much today, just chill. Do the usual feed zoo, garden patrol, pest patrol. Later on I will go out to the shop and start prepping the new stones that came in the mail. Work on a few air guns some as well.

At least they said return on Monday.😂

Probably not a whole lot. Might be meeting the 2 daughters and 1 daughters and granddaughter's boy friends along with my SIL in Selegman for pizza. That's going to be an expensive bill!! Triple dig temps for the next week. Hopefully nobody up here sets off any fireworks. This place is a tinder box with all of the trees the rancher cut down and just left laying on the ground. They're totally dried out and wouldn't take much of a spark to burn.😳😳

It’s a day off of work.  Lots to do around here entertaining later.  Need to do some outside rearranging, sweeping and blowing, prep food for the smoker later, clean the smoker, set up the complete airgun range, prep gear for a 40 hour work shift starting tomorrow 0700. 

Right now it’s sunny out, cool breeze and cappuccinos!

I went grocery shopping and then picked up my meds.
I made an accounting system to account for them.

Now just enjoy the rest of my INDEPENDENCE DAY.  I capitalize it because that is the actual reason we celebrate it and to honor
out Fore Fathers for their wisdom and foresight in making America the best country on the planet.

If you don't think it's the best... you can always leave.

If you're from another country then you can believe yours is the best too.

I really like the larger number of posts per page because my internet and computer loads it fast anyway and I can scroll back easier if I want to.
