Shot 2 mags with the NoDoze this morning until Betty Lou joined me and we got out the Crosman 367 carbine pumpers. We shot one game of cans and paintballs before it just got too humid to enjoy it. The game was neck and neck until we got to the last 3 cans of the game. She knocked 2 in a row off the screws with single shots and went on to win... as usual.
I put 3" drywall screws in a 4x4 leaving 2" exposed and spaced about 8" apart. I turn cans over and put them on the screws, I drill holes in a 1 x 8 and put golf tees in the holes for the paintballs and that board sits down in front of the 4x4. Odd number of cans (we do 7) and odd number of paintballs (9).Each shooter gets 3 can and 4 paintballs. The odd can and paintball are the last hit and both player take turns at those.The race is on... Take turns shooting. We start with the paintballs because a can can be knocked off and knock paintballs off. If you knock a paintball off you get to shoot again... same with the cans. Both need to be knocked completely off before moving to the next (cans ripped from the screws and paintballs exploded or knocked to the ground). When you clear your 3 cans and 4 paintballs you move on to the odd ones. Last can off wins and loser must set up the next game.We've had games over in 10 minutes and we've had games last a couple hours. It's not as easy as it sounds. The more a can gets torn up the harder it is to get a good hit on it and rip it off the screw.I'll get a picture of the set up and post it later.A couple hints...Take the tabs off the cans so they sit level.Rim shots on cans knock them off easier than just punching holes in them.Drill the golf tee holes big enough so the tee sits low. Less chance of hitting and busting up the tee.
Little green army men, resettable flippers and paper targets can be added to expand the game.We can also open the game up to include all 45yds of our shooting range and various targets but with our 367 pumpers (4-5 pumps per shot) 25yds. keeps the game moving along without permanent arm damage. Move in to 10 - 15yds. and add a balloon board for BB Guns.Add alcohol to increase difficulty level.. Please drink and shoot responsibly.

Ya know, come to think of it.. a little beer in a balloon would save having to blow them up. Just tie it off and shake it up. hmmmmm.
