Well, it looks like Gracie's run will come to an end tomorrow. Considering she was diagnosed with cancer last September I think she did a good job lasting this long. But who knows, she's been those close to taking that trip over the rainbow bridge before and she bounced back 🙏

We thought this morning we jumped the gun when she eat a few pieces of steak. Then a few minutes later she started to try to throw up. She managed to keep it down but that just confirmed in our minds it is time. Our dogs teach us unconditional love and how to say goodbye to the one's we love.😭 I can't believe this. Since moving here 4 years ago we've lost 5 of our dogs.

Sorry Robert, it really does hurt they don’t live longer.  :'(

Mawnin y'all!  I'm off today so I slept in.  I wallowed with the memsahib and the dogs for an hour after I woke so I'm feeling good and rested.  I have to take the RV to dump the holding tanks and then it is FOR SALE!  It will be good to see that disaster gone.  I wanted to make a dump run today but I've probably left it too late.

Soon as the chores are done I'm gonna jump the fence and head for the woods with (air) gun and dog.

My original plans of the day came to fruition. That was to secure and relocate the monsters to my habitation. Then we went to the mall for lunch and while there well that had an unexpected side quest. The. We went to martmart to get sustenance for din din.

The side quest was that some one opened a airsoft shooting gallery in the mall. My big monster did great for her first time. The little monster was not having any of it. Then I cleaned house 3 lanes 125 rounds with leftovers standing off hand. If you know me I shake really bad so this is a feat for me.

Woke up and the digital clock read 4:44. Mustered the energy to get up and hit the head then put the coffee on.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I slept in until 0600 and I’m just now finishing up my second cup o’Joe. I’m on call still, but haven’t had any calls yet. The humidity is ridiculous this year. I didn’t get the mowing done yesterday because of the wet grass. But, I did get a lot of the line trimming done. I’m going to get the mowing done today, if I don’t get called out. I wasn’t planning on going to Church, but I’m conflicted because the grass is all wet again. I do still need to probably scrape the mower deck and touch up the the sharpness of the blades. I think I’ll finish my coffee and take a shower and shave (my neck, I’m growing my beard back out). If it makes sense, I’ll go to Church and drive my van in case I have to go to work. Then, I’ll mow when I get back.

The animal conspiracy started at the usual 4:30 this morning. I played possum till some time after 5. Then hit with oh my it’s light out, I’ve already wasted half the day! LOL

A few chores this morning and the to the skunkworks. My Daisy 753 is still apart on the bench. This was the second attempt at improving the trigger. So far so good, the creep is gone, but still not light enough. I will need different springs. The one I sourced it better, but not light enough.

Or I may start inletting an AR 2078 stock for my 1720. It currently lives in an old elm 140 stock that I love, but I need a more vertical grip.
