It's midday, been at it since the crack of dawn. Just finished up picking black berries and getting them into the freezer. Finally got the house to a manageable temperature so the zoo is happy now and I can get some sleep. After lunch get the grass cut before I have to swim through it. Later this afternoon I will go pick up 2 roos that a friend's daughter can't keep because of the city ordinance.

Sitting in the living room freezing!🥶 We have the air-conditioning on because of Gracie golden. If we don't keep it cool she starts panting.

Mission accomplished, I have 2 beautiful roosters, one is americana and the other is red leghorn. Both are just 4 months old and super sweet and calm. They will make a nice addition to flock I  have now. I have plenty girls for them to have their own flock.

Well, it looks like Gracie's run will come to an end tomorrow. Considering she was diagnosed with cancer last September I think she did a good job lasting this long. But who knows, she's been those close to taking that trip over the rainbow bridge before and she bounced back 🙏

Okay, I'll start it off today.
Good morning, Happy Friday. Up at 0400.
Last day of May. It's rainy out, glad I got my three yards cut yesterday.

Good for you Dan, I need the rain now but not the destruction that comes with it. Got most of my yard done until I mangled a mower blade so this morning is get that fixed. Then take the backhoe off the tractor and hook up the bush hog to knock down the stuff the rider can't get. Work on the fence line some more later this afternoon. Just about got that cleaned up to put the new fence in.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I slept in until 0600, I was pretty tired. I’m still dragging a little after my first cup o’Joe. I’ll have my second cup and get moving. I should visit my chiropractor, but I’m on call this weekend, I might wait until Monday. I have a job that is not fun to work on that has air conditioning problems. They had no power on Tuesday, today I need to go back.

The stock is done with the finish applications and there's just a few things I need to do on it or for it.
Then I'll assemble the rifle and see if it actually shoots.

We thought this morning we jumped the gun when she eat a few pieces of steak. Then a few minutes later she started to try to throw up. She managed to keep it down but that just confirmed in our minds it is time. Our dogs teach us unconditional love and how to say goodbye to the one's we love.😭 I can't believe this. Since moving here 4 years ago we've lost 5 of our dogs.

The usual Friday plans.  Coffee, hang, get work gear together, play pool with pops, work.  Work texted this morning wanting me to come in @0700.  I’m already working 16 tomorrow.  I passed it on to another lineman for the OT even though technically it was mine to do.  Share the wealth 💰💰💰

 Good Morning GTA, I was up at 6:00 AM today.
 First thing today will be to take my grandson in law to John Wayne Airport to catch his flight back to Idaho. I am not looking forward to the drive on the 91 which can be more of a parking lot than a freeway. At least it's not a weekday.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I slept in until 0700. I just finished my coffee, but I’m on call. So, I just made some more coffee. I’d like to get some mowing done, if the calls stay quiet. The grass is wet right now, so I’d like to wait until about noon. We’ll just have to wait & see.
