Good morning guys and gals. Up at 4:58 this morning. We had a great family day yesterday celebrating Memorial day.  Barbecue chicken, potato salad, steamed green beans, baked beans (my recipe  ) and my younger daughter's homemade strawberry cake.

Another hot and humid day ahead. No plans at the moment.

Up at around 4 and made coffee. Rambo got up and ate but went back to bed.
Yeah, gonna be a hot one here today as well. Not as humid is the word but we all know how predicting the weather goes.... it's kinda like ordering ChiCom stuff, you just never know what you're gonna get.   
I have 2 cameras the went out during the recent storms so I need to see what's up with them. I suspect faulty wires but we'll see.
Aside from that it will be business as usual.... airgun stuff.

Yeah Bill forcast does show lower humidity here today as well but still with a 95° prediction for today I expect with heat index it will be near 100°.

 Back to the grindstone, will have to work between rain showers, seems the norm as of late. Need the fields to dry to get a pumpkin crop planted before we run out of grow time for Halloween. have an industrial oven to dismantle for the stainless and other scrap. and put the finishing touches on our large cooler that 4 school busses would fit in, at lest that is what we tell the school tour kids, when we close the door and turn the lights out on them

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Back to the grind for me too, and I’m on call this week. I slept in, not sure of the time, I thought it was 0700, but I’m having coffee and it’s almost 0700 just now. I got the pool up yesterday, and it overfilled overnight. My wife was supposed to turn it off, but must’ve thought it’d be ok. After coffee, I’ll get dressed and mount the pumps. I’ll turn the water back on to fill it the rest of the way and head to work. Of course, I don’t know where I’m going yet, I’ll have to call the office, if they don’t call first.

A thunderstorm came through last night and it has cooled things down
a lot, but it won't last long and the humidity will continue to stay high.

I will start adding layers of Tru-Oil to the stock this morning.
This one seems to have more figure to it and I think it's going to look great.

It is raining here today, windy and on the cold side.
It is 52 F with a 15 to 20 mph NW cross wind.
I had to turn the heat, for a while on this morning, to warm up the house.
It is supposed to warm up to 70 F by Wednesday.

We slept in- up at 6:45 for a light breakfast.  Sonja's off all week, I work today and tomorrow only.  She's doing some cleaning, and I'm working- caught up with most tasks so I'm mostly reviewing some SQL videos on Udemy- the more I know the more I'm worth  

We've been considering buying a Kei truck for a commuter and workhorse; Sonja has a shorter commute her 2 days a week, all on rural roads, and the 45-50 mpg of a Kei is mighty appealing.

Good Morning!
Yesterday when I awoke I felt like I was coming down with something, just felt lousy and had breathing trouble all day. If I took a deep breath I would cough.
So, I didn't do anything all day. As of right now I mostly feel like I fought it off. I don't feel great but, I feel normal this morning.

 Weather here is supposed to be "Mostly sunny. High 84F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph with 33% humidity." 
 
Today I plan on doing annual maintenance on our Evaporative Cooler that I didn't get to yet, before the weather gets hotter and I regret not having it work at peak performance. I need to clean it out, change the filters, and make sure the pump is working like it is supposed to.

I need to uncover my window AC for my office too.

There's cloud cover today and that's keeping the temps down, so far.

I just got finished with the first full strength application of Tru-Oil on the stock and I'll wait for 3 or 4 hrs. for it
to dry, then continue the process.

Up @ 0845.  Just finished a bowl of Raisin Bran with a sliced up banana 🍌.  Mrs. P is still in bed.  We have some errands that we have to run today.  I hope to get those completed early and then I just want to hang out at home and chill.  It’s gray outside with a light sprinkle, so light that it doesn’t even look wet out.

The State of Florida built a shrine to the guy that invented air conditioning.  This place would be uninhabitable for ya'll Yankees without it.

Evenin y'all.  Man I'm whipped.  Memorial day weekend is over thank the Lord.  Yesterday I arrested the patriarch of a large family holding a reunion at the park for Public Intoxication.  Talk about ^*%$#@ a bunch of people off!  I was persona non grata at that picnic for sure!  I responded to a partial drowning incident and a woman going into a diabetic coma.  I provided first aid until EMS showed up and then I wrote incident reports.  I cleaned out two clogged toilets with a shovel.   Come on people!  For cryin out loud!  If the john  don't flush stop dumping in it!  Cleaned the bathrooms,  must have pulled thirty bags of trash in the picnic area and the beach, drove two boat tours, and closed up and shut down the park at the end of the day.

Today I ran the waterfront, drove four tours, pulled another twenty bags of trash, wandered the picnic area with trash pickers getting the cigarette butts and candy wrappers and then I got the (final domicile of sinners) out of there.  I am proud to work on Memorial Day and serve the American people.
