Evenin y'all. Bad flare-up of shingles today.  It manifests in my left leg which was partly amputated and reattached years ago.  Fortunately most of the nerves are severed in that leg so it's mostly irritation.   It creates a weird phantom itch.  If I scratch where it itches I can't feel it.  But if I scratch about four inches away it feels like I'm scratching the itch.

Good morning, 70* here with some cloudiness. Lawn mower project done. All tires are mounted and what a difference it made. So for today I am doing smaller repair projects give my body a little bit of a break from the heavy duty stuff. Probably spend some part the day in the shop sorting out the shipment of stones to cut and polish. Just take the day as it comes.

Kris, that's exactly what I'm doing. Taking it as it comes.
For once, I have very little that has to be done and all day to do it.

John, I haven't been bowling in YEARS!
Used to be on a league but a tornado destroyed our bowling alley and it was never replaced. I don't know where my ball and shoes are now.

Ayrabella had a blast and wants to go again, for sure. I’m glad we went.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I got up around 0500 and I’m finishing up my coffee. We have Church at 1000 hrs and small group this afternoon. Probably going to rain most of the day, so that’s all I’m planning on… probably nap after lunch.

As typical after any project I do around here, I have a mess in the shop to clean up. The North Range shootin' shack/deck project is no different. I usually wait for rainy days to do a thorough clean and organize but but long term weather reports don't call for any significant rain expected for at least the next 10 days.
The main shooting bench has moved from inside the Red Shed to the South Range (which is now all but dismantled) to the North Range shooting deck so I need to decide if I want to remove that indoor shooting bench to make the shop more functional as a shop.
Most likely I'll take a couple days to just ponder and plan the best way to organize and change the layout. But, on the bright side, I got all the time in the World.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 0400 and had my 2 cups o’Joe. I’ll get Ayrabella off to school and call the office for work. We had a huge thunderstorm last night and early morning blow through, it woke me up a couple times, but I went back to sleep. It’s real foggy out there now.

I swear these weather folks throw darts at dart boards to predict the weather. They went from virtually 0% chance of rain for the next 10 days in yesterday's report to a 65% chance of rain tomorrow in today's report. The only true way to know the weather is to look out the window.

It's about the same with hurricane landfall prediction. I don't even bother with the news weather, just to much drama put into it. One minute it's commando weather prediction and nothing happens or it's tourist weather with smiles and everything gets wiped off the face of the earth.

The company I used to work for hired Fritz Coleman who was the Los Angeles NBC weatherman as a Stand Up Comedian for an awards dinner event. He began his routine with saying "this job is a lot harder than my other job, I am expected to be funny... as a weatherman I am not expected to be right!"  He proceeded to a funny routine from there, he is a funny guy. Since then, I think all weatherman might just be comedians that are punking us???
