Thinking of dragging the dirt road. I've got a drag that's made of 2 I beams welded together at about 2-3feet apart with some steel tubes. Thing weighs about 300 lbs and if the dirt is soft enough it will smooth it out. We've got some 1-2foot deep ruts that need to be smoothed out along with a lot of pot holes. Problem is that it's 5.5 miles of dragging to do and for the drag to work you can't exceed 5 mph. It's also only as wide as the truck so it would take multiple passes to drag the whole road.

I have to change out the board on my alarm panel.   Lots of little wires.    My eyes aren't getting any better so it could take longer than it should.

When... got all the running done and the groceries hauled in the house. That job just seems to get tougher and tougher every month.
But it's done now and the rest of the day is mine. I had a pin screw on a mold stripped out. I drilled the head out this morning so while I was in town I stopped at Lowes and picked up an EZ Out set and a couple replacement screws.

Good afternoon GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump-Day! I got an early start, early morning meeting. And I met with an electrician to fix an electric service for a freezer that I was working on. I fixed another freezer and now I’m working on a cooler. I’m just waiting for the temperature to drop and I’ll head home. I’ve got a meeting at the Church tonight at 1930.

I'll spend most of the day in a drug induced stupor.  Nothing new.  I Spent most of my twenties and thirties blind wasted so I've had lots of practice!

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I think this week is going by pretty quick. I’m not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, I’ve been getting a lot done besides my regular job. On the other, time really seems to be going fast- as we’ve been warned- the older we get. Anyway, I got up at 0330, and I think I slept pretty good. I don’t have a job on me yet. I’d like to get the brush in the burn pit, if the office doesn’t have anything today. I did get almost 13 hours in at work, yesterday. I’ll have my coffee and get ready for whatever the day holds for me.

I took the day off work.  I’m chilling at home with my peeps this AM.  1100 I’ll be with mom and pops at their place for a visit with them.  We will bring some food in for lunch (no idea what) and just visit. I know that there will be some pool playing in that time also.  Whenever I wrap that up it will be time to come home and hang with my peeps again.  I have my afternoon shift to do at work tomorrow and I have Saturday scheduled off for our daughter’s 19th birthday.  Next week is Mrs. P and the kid’s spring break from school.  I’ll work 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) and I’ll have Friday -Monday off for Easter/Resurrection weekend.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! We made it! I slept in until 0445 and I’ve finished my coffee already. I don’t have a job on me for today, yet. But, I’m going to get ready and head out this morning to visit my chiropractor. I’ll have to call the office from there.

After 13+ years of living in the south I can still say... I don't miss the snow one bit. Betty Lou misses it some around Christmas time.. Santa and the 8 reindeer blow ups sitting in front yards in the grass kinda depresses her.
I prefer seeing him sticking up out of the sand with the ocean in the background.

Ya'll can have that nasty cold, I don't miss dealing with dead plants and broke plumbing. I have enjoyed walking in the woods here in the south when there is a snow storm that drops enough to stick and stay for a day or two but living in it nope, nada, ain't happening. The only snow I have on the ground here is my citrus trees are in full bloom and the flowers are white, my navel tree is almost solid white with flowers this year and the smell is intoxicating. I can remember as a kid the citrus trees in the groves down south would bloom and the whole area would be covered in fragrance.

It has snowed and those are Kodak moments for sure because it might be many years
before it happens again.

Of course we pay the price with the scorching temps in the summer.

Mornin y’all.  Some of us are just cold natured.  Y’all can have the sunshine.  I like it cold!

Y’all Yankees don’t know who Napoleon Bonaparte Broward was but he is a hero here in Flarda.

He’s the fellow what come up with the name “The sunshine state”.

Because the Yankees won’t come if we tell them the truth!

So come on down to Sunny Flarda .   Enjoy the man eating insects, the humidity and the scammers.  Torrential rains!  You can be soaked in your own sweat 24 hour a day!

If it’s cold you just put on more clothing.  There ain’t nothing you can do when it’s hot but sit in the AC.

And you can sit inside ANYWHERE.  Why go to the trouble of coming to Florida?

Good Morning!
  We are supposed to be "Partly Cloudy with a high of 73°F today. Tomorrow and Sunday some more rain with temps of 56°F and 53°F. The nearest mountain is suppose to get some more snow. So that ends our short string of days in the mid to upper 70's and the next 9 days are all forecast <70°F

I don't have any real plans for today so far!

Sunny and 75 year ‘round here.  Only rains at night, never on the weekends.  You poor saps everywhere else must either have no brains or you are just so tough that the weather doesn’t phase you.  Ignorance is bliss!  Ha ha 😂

Up @ 0700.  Made coffee, enjoying it now.  I’ll chill around the house some, probably shoot my SIG Air P365 and head into work early to use the gym for a workout.  I’ll have work from 1500-2300 and then I’ll be off for a 3 day weekend! 

Our cat, Buster, has a growth on his tail and it seems to be bothering him so he will have to go get that checked out.  Not sure if we will get in today or what.

It is about 22 F here and partly cloudy.
After the snow plow went thru, I went out this morning at around 8 am and cleared the snow from the driveway.
I was cold when I started and was hot and sweaty when I got done.
I stripped down to a light sweatshirt, sat down out back and chilled for a while. letting the dog run in the new snow.
I still have the back patio to do then go over to my daughters place and do her snow.
When I get it all done I might make a snowman and then shoot his eye out.
