I woke up at 4:55 AM but stayed in bed with my wife until 6:25 AM.
I had Coffee and then I cleaned up/dusted off my Honda VTX and road it to go vote and then went for a short ride. The weather today is beautiful for riding in Southern CA. 

My wife had an appointment at the nail salon at 10:00 AM and then she will vote on her way home.

I need to clean out the Church's storage shed (Spring cleaning) and spray it with bug spray, but I am having a motivation issue.  

I am going to go work on it now to get it done!

I was going to turn south at the corner below and keep riding for a while earlier but, I saw the phone company trucks up by my driveway so I went straight up the hill and stopped in my driveway and talked to them. They needed to run new Fiberoptic line on the poles here so, I stayed home and left the gate open for them. They are still working on it so I should just be productive too since I can't leave anyway..

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! It’s Hump-Day for us working stiffs! I got up just after 0400, via my alarm… I really didn’t want to wake up. But, oh well. I have my 0600 meeting and then I think I’ll get a haircut. My dispatcher went home early yesterday, so I didn’t get a dispatch for today. But, that’s nothing new really. I’ll have something to do, I’m sure.

Got up at 4am and put coffee on. I fed the dogs and headed for the desktop PC out in the bar. I opened the bar and the back door so the dogs could go out and in through the netted screen at their leisure.
Not sure which direction I'll go today. I want to get back to the clean up on the back yard project but I have an airgun part arriving to finish that job as well. The mail arrives around 10am typically so maybe I can get some work done before it shows up.
I also came up with an idea to put another door opening in the Red Shed lean to so both atvs can have side by side space. I'm still weighing in on that.

Mornin y’all.  Up at 0800.  I’m on the late shift at work today.  I don’t have to be there until 0900.

Went out and abused the beater Husqvarna lawn tractor for an hour or so this morning. I got rid of the rest of the brush piles and fallen debris from the fenced in area and mulched up everything else. Next we will hand rake all around the trees where the tractor wouldn't get close enough the due to roots. What an amazing transformation. From about a half acre of woods and under brush that was scary to venture into to clear usable fenced in yard.
This expansion also gave me safe space to take down more trees without taking out fence line.

Good morning, back to being a 4 acre lake again. 3" of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours. The weather nerds are predicting more this weekend. Make a mail run this morning, then check my fence line is not down the neighbor's cows got out yesterday and caused a traffic problem. Kind a funny watching the deputies herd them up in pouring rain. Spend some part of the day planting seed trays and some stuff in the boat.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday, it’s Friday-Eve! I got up just before 0500. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe and I’ll get ready for work. I’ll roll out as soon as I get Ayrabella on the bus for school. I have a rather large preventative maintenance job to do today. It’s also supposed to rain, it is what it is, I need the pay.

My wife has her stitching group to go to and then she is going to go visit a friend that just got back home from open heart surgery. She will probably do some housework for her while she's there.
 It is supposed to have a high of 58°F and rain today too, so, I think I'll take a day off, keep the pets company, just surf the internet, and or read today too.

 I do have a grandson's airgun here that he want's me to put in an aftermarket trigger and change the fill port, I may do that today since I have any table in the house to work at while she's gone? She would never say anything if I took over a table as a workspace while she is home but, I know it would bother her a little inside. My workspace in my office/mancave is just too small to work on rifles currently. So if I do it while she's gone she'll be "none the wiser".

It's snowing!🤬🤬 At least nothing is sticking. Might go down to the meadow and burn one of the burn pits since it's very wet. The pit is 5 feet deep, 8 feet wide and 20 feet long. It's filled to over flowing so it'll be burning all day long.

I would bet that she's very much the wiser. Betty Lou instinctively knows if I even look in the fridge.

Mornin Y'all.  Stayin home today.  Sort of.  My shoulder is bothering me this morning.  Didn't sleep last night.  I'm really not up to the physical effort necessary to operate a tour boat safely by myself.  So I called the boss.  He's good with me taking the time.  He doesn't want me anymore torn up than necessary.  I made the decision this week to turn in my Nomex.  I put all my firefighter gear in a duffel and gave it to our resource management PSS. 

I'm done fighting fire.

It was a tough decision.  Wildland fire fighting has been my life for twenty years.  I kept a pair of Nomex pants, a shirt, and of course my burn boots for nostalgia sake.  All my web gear and my burn baggie I'm giving to one of the new guys.

Pellet mold didn't show up so plan B is to modify the A/C original opening in the Red Shed wall to fit the smaller unit. Last year I just had it in the window but I'm using that window for shooting out of.
If that does well I might have time to get back to yard work.
It's supposed to start a weekend of rain tomorrow so anything outside will need done today or wait until next week.

I’ve got air filters and fan belts in my van. And I’m just sitting here a bit longer for a break in the rain. As soon as it quits enough, I’ll go throw them in the units on the roof.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! We made it! I got up at 0500 and started my coffee. I don’t have a job on me for today, yet. But, I’ve gotten 8 hours a day in, so far this week. I’ll get ready for whatever this day holds after my second cup o’Joe. And, I’ll get Ayrabella on the bus for school. We got some rain yesterday and maybe we’ll get some more rain this afternoon. We really need it, actually.

 Aside from cleaning up the brush from apple tree pruning and old tree removal, I had a chance yesterday to light up another pile as the wind was right and surrounding area not too dry.
 One huge pile to go, that is tricky to have the right conditions, been 3 years since I last had the chance.

Well, I’m off for today. I’m going to go pay some bills. While I’m out, I think I’ll pick up some oil and an oil filter for my mower. When I get back home, I think I might shoot some airguns, and change the oil in the mower.
