 Not the warmest morning as of late, 12 degrees ATM up from 10. Temps back on the rise for next week. was out to replenish the wood in the boiler, did not stay outside long to enjoy the weather.
 11 am the PO opens I can send a care package to a fellow GTA member. Then I should be awake enough to continue with a Blue Streak reseal I took on.  Basement plinking will defiantly happen, with what gun not sure yet

Got the second Shingles Shot and every possible side effect came into play.
Not all but at least three of them, chills, achy feeling in the joints, and fever.
Didn't ecxpect it.

Should be sunny and mid sixty today so I will get out at least, get some fresh air.

Mornin y'all.  Draggin my butt today.  It's gray and overcast.  I been working way too long this week.  Let it rain.  This kind of weather appeals to my Hibernian genes.  I've got my camo wellies and my poncho.  I'm headed for the woods with (air)gun and dog.  I'll hunt for a couple of hours then it's back to the rental to finish work on the doors.

The plan is to do as little as possible and only what they ask me to do.  Weather is mild so that gives me some hope that the bat phone will not ring as much as if the weather was poor.  Currently I’m in a local (Seattle) coffee shop sipping on a cappuccino, surfing the web, and taking in all of the conversations around me.  There are a couple adventure bikers 🏍️ here, three cyclists 🚴 a couple gabby women that don’t fit in (dressed up, this is a grungy part of town), and some other dudes like myself that look like they are working today (based off clothing) and just getting a cup or on their devices.  I wish I could see my wife strolling into the shop so I could watch and talk with her.

After venturing out into the cold damp woods to do a bit of clearing on the trail this morning I thought it best to spend the rest of thee day indoors. I don't want to take a chance on getting sick. I don't fight it off as good as I used to.
So Betty Lou noticed the first 3 episodes of Halo season 2 were available to stream. She decided to re watch season 1 (9 episodes) as a refresher before beginning s2e1. She had s1 running most of the day yesterday and I caught bits and pieces s I was in and out.... enough to remember the story line. She just started s2e1.
I did play this video game back when it was new and I was in to FPS gaming.
I was into gaming PCs and FPS gaming then like I am airguns now.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday!!! It is the Lord’s day, but, my wife had a rough day yesterday. With one of the kids… Mahayla, not  Ayrabella. I’m sure she had a rough night, too. I got up at 0400 and have had my coffee. I need to get some diesel for the tractor and get back onto what I started Friday afternoon and worked on yesterday. The coals in the pit are still hot, I just checked. I’m going to save the logs, but I need to keep burning the leftovers to clean up my mess. The Polar Bear? He just kinda showed up, real friendly, but not much help.

Brett I make coffee at home and bring it in a thermos if I want more on the road. Places like that to me are just totally nonexistent other than seeing them as I drive by. Besides I really like my coffee. A bit of maple syrup and a little chocolate milk added make a wonderful cup and it doesn't cost me anywhere near $10 or whatever starbucks type places are charging these days.

John did you climb the tree to make the cuts or have someone lift you in the loader? A lot of experienced people have cut trees expecting them to fall in the direction they planned only to find them falling onto fences, houses ect so good choice cutting it that way.

Good morning, the rain has quit, temps are dropping expecting light frost tonight and tomorrow night so I will cover up the tender stuff. This should be the last cold snap of the season. Work in the shop some to prep stones to mount and clean up a little. Not much else till it dries out some in the yard.

Besides I really like my coffee. I have a moka pot and the tools at work to make espresso but we don’t have a stove anymore so….  I buy pods for the Kuerig.  It’s coffee but not the best.  It’s easy, lets just leave it there 😆😆😆
I was on a marathon shift (32hours) at work.  They make it worth my while to be there like that so I figured I would splurge for an over priced cup of good coffee.  Yeah, a quad cappuccino with a $1 tip was $8 something.  I guess you could break it down and say included in that price was the entertainment from watching people and the Wi-Fi that I used while I was there plus it got me out of the shop and into the community so it’s worth it on occasion.

I climbed it, Gil. I wish I had taken pictures of the tree as she stood, before I started. All cleaned up, yesterday. My son-in-law helped me pickup about a 3rd of it yesterday. That helped me get it all done before the day ended. And I have a pile of logs to split, when I have time.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up just before 0430 and have had my coffee and raked the fire pit. I sure am glad I got that tree work done yesterday. We’ll be cutting grass pretty soon. I do have that other big dead oak to take down, but it won’t have nearly as many branches and twigs. I don’t have a job on me yet for today, that seems to be my routine, anymore. I’ll get Ayrabella on the bus for school and I’ll have to call the office.

 Speaking of cold snaps and wood, I put the last of my firewood stockpile in the burner @2 am, that will heat the house today, for sure, but I will head to the woods or wood pile and get another load at the end of my day at work, any luck I might bag a squirrel or rabbit in the proses.

Good  morning, 37* here and light frost, more expected in the morning. The sun is out and will warm up quick. Not much rain over the weekend so the swamp yard will continue to dry out. No rain predicted for a few days so that is a plus. Garden prepping and dead limb clean up for today.

NASCAR marathon today. The cup and the xfinity were both postponed until today due to rain over the weekend.

Good morning GTA! 

slept in this AM.  Just now out of bed but I spent about an hour just laying there with Mrs. P before we got up.  Now bacon is in the oven and the rest of the food is prepped to make bacon avacado omelets.  We are going out with everyone (4 kids) for coffee after that.  They had received coffee cards in their stockings for Christmas and we haven’t purposed to all go out so this morning is the morning.  After that, who knows.  I should make a run for materials at the home improvement store.  Maybe I’ll start doing that.  We have Bible study this evening so I need to wrap that up.  Shooting an airgun would be nice, but we shall see.  Really just enjoying my weekend and I still have tomorrow off work so that is extra nice!

Good morning! Well coughing got me up early. I took some Nite-Time cold Meds so I may get to go back to bed when it kicks in.  I don't feel sick any more except for when the coughing hits.

We are supposed be in the upper 50's°F and get rain today and tomorrow.

Today is Marjo's 82nd birthday and we're going down to Lindsey's for some shrimp and gumbo with friends.  After lunch, we have some errands to run and a pickup order at Walmart. 

It is a beautiful day.  Maybe we'll get back home in time to shoot some pellets and BBs?
