Heads up y'all... weatherman says tomorrow will be a code red day in our neck of the woods.
Got a text that the bulbs for the 4' fluorescent fixtures were ready for pick up. I went and got them. I put them in and discovered there were only 7 instead of 8. They still work even with a missing bulb. I'm not going to complain about not getting 1 free bulb and I'm not making a special trip to buy one. If I happen to think about it when in Troy next week I might pick one up. I also need a special spring for my recliner so I may need to start a Lowes list. Those 2 fixtures give great light coverage in the Red Shed. And once I hang the 3 2' LED lights over the work benches I might need sunglasses in there.

Those defuser lens covers really spread the light out evenly. And the bright bulbs don't hit you right in the eye balls when you look in that direction.
Although I've converted almost every light fixture in my house to LEDs, I find that the longevity claims are often not accurate. I write the date of installation on new lights and a lot have failed long before the marketing estimate. This is not the first big marketing scheme I've seen for lights. About 30 years ago CFLs were all the rage with longevity and efficiency claims. They were &^^&. At least the LEDs are way better than CFLs particularly in the quality of the light.
Carter, have you tried deflecting the light with shades like they do for photo shoots?

If I mix colors under artificial lights they won't have the same hue when I take them out into natural light. Some lights (Fluorescent) are worse than others. I've got a stack of old windows to install. Just got to get around to it.
