Good morning, nice and sunny here. Warming up quickly before the next front gets here. Waiting on Fedex to show up with my English Wheel(metal working tool). Hopefully is is not to mangled up. Load the chicken, dove, and dog feeders. Continue on with the gate project, still have a lot grinding and paint prepping to do but it will be worth it.

0600 wake up.  Dr. appt @0720.  Come home and eat b-fast and do what ever until time to go play pops in pool.  Work after that.  Won’t be home again until late Saturday night, almost Sunday.  This is a regular theme these days.

Reminds me of back in the day when I was 13 or 14 years old. My oldest Brother (R.I.P.) took me to work with him on the oil rig in mid Ohio for a 36 hour shift. His crew worked 36 hours on and 24 off for weeks at a time. That was 36 hours straight with no downtime. They spelled each other out for meals.
That was the first and the last time I went to work with him.

I'm assembling a china entertainment center.  Woopy!!! What a pita!!! The bolts are painted and they got a bunch of paint in the Allen screw head. The Allen wrenches aren't too bad but the bolts make it a pain. Don't get me started about the instructions.

On my way to my appt, work called and asked if I wanted to come in for the day shift.  I said ok.  Been here for quite some time already now.  Been busy too.  The wind and rain are picking up but hopefully not much more.  I tried to get and extra crew added for coverage on the north end of town but they denied it.  If the world falls apart, they WILL pay.  As of now it has settled down.  My day shift tomorrow was cancelled so I’ll go home in the AM tomorrow then return tomorrow afternoon for my last shift of the week.  I’m already looking forward to a couple days off again.  Wish I could just work 40 straight through then be off the rest of the week.  Oh well.  I’ve got it pretty good so don’t feel sorry for me. 🤣🤠😎

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I woke up between 0430-0500 and started the coffee. I’ve been doing that lately, hardly looking at the clock. Oh well, I have a Men’s Breakfast at the Church at 0800. The girls are going into town for groceries. I’d like to assemble my hand pump, and hopefully, start building air in my Cuda Max .22.

I guess Rambo, Boss and I woke Betty Lou up at 3:00 am with our snoring in 3 part harmony. Of course, I took the blame.  She got up and went to the spare room. I hope that worked out for her because both dogs followed her and I fell back into a peaceful sleep until 5:30...   
Boss does this thing where she eats, goes outside and comes back in with a case of wild child. She locates her knotted rope toy and takes it to anyone still in bed while growling, whining and barking trying to get them to play. I end up making more noise trying to get her to stop and leave the sleeper alone.
I've got a feeling Betty Lou is going to have bad hair when she gets up.   
I suppose I'll be posting cold cereal in the "Whatcha Eating" thread this morning.

Well the rains have come and gone but a flooded yard has stayed, yep, swamped again from last night's storm. Anyway, shift projects to indoors today, the usual menial chores of house keeping, fill out some paper work, make a mail run later. The English wheel made it one piece and will get that set up to work some metal for the next project. Just making the best of a wet, soggy situation.

With my normal morning routine successfully completed, I'll grab a shower and head out to the Red Shed to see what I can get into. Only thing for sure is that it will be airgun related.

Made some pancakes for the family for breakfast then off to pick up a grocery order.  I’ve found that online pick up works quite well as I spend less at the store overall (not buying stuff on a whim).  Plus it saves us time and frustration by not going inside the store- which never has enough registers open.
Today’s tasks include putting the kids to work picking up sticks in the yard and I will do some late season leaf clean up.  We have so many oaks in our yard and they just keep falling all season.  Even after having a dozen taken down since being in the house 11 years now, the amount of trees and leafs left still produce a ridiculous amount for clean up. 
Figured now’s the time to do it since we have a snow storm coming in tonight.  5-10 inches here in CT for tonight into tomorrow.  Clean up so when the sleds are brought out post storm, the sled hill is clear.
Will start up the snow blower and top off the gas cans.  I got an electric greenworks handheld blower for Christmas, so will charge up the battery for that.  I’m curious to see how it moves the snow.  It’s gotten good reviews.

Just checked the rain gauge, 3.8 inches in. It's 70* here now. More rain due on Monday. Beats having nasty, freezing weather any day. This time last year I was dealing with broke plumbing and frozen fruit trees.

Pretty much the same here.  I'm running into town later to pick up some more lighting for the studio.  With enough light I'll be able to paint indoors!

I got about an hour and a half nap.  Up now.  Coffee time.  Milling about for a couple hours than back to work. 

This is a bit preliminary but I’ll be heading to Arizona next month.  I definitely plan on a trip to Airguns of Arizona in Gilbert.  Hmmmm, what should I buy?

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I woke up at 0411 and heard our central hvac fan go off, then come back on. It ran awhile more, went off, then came back on. I found a note on the coffee maker about the same problem from my wife, that the  temperature in the house was dropping. It appears that after the time delay on the thermostat, it just starts all over with the time delay. Probably a bad thermostat, it’s 62* in the house. After my coffee, I’ll shower & get dressed and see what’s wrong and fix it. Hopefully, I’ll just change the thermostat, I’m sure I have an extra one I can use.
