Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I went to bed early at 2000 hrs and woke up at 0511 with the remote under my neck. Put the remote on the nightstand and fell back to sleep until 0530 and got up. I need a vacation from my vacation. I’ve had one cup o’Joe and I’ll have another before I get moving. I have a Harbor Freight winter PM to do. I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday.

If you were in the service area I’d come over and cut it for you!  Ha ha!

Those hilifts are unnerving.  They always seem like they are going to go over.  I need one for some tree trimming at my place. 

I like to be grounded most of the time.  I’ve spent a lot of time working transmission when I was younger.  Not many pictures of that though.  It was before cell phones for me.  Here are some pictures of pictures.

This was me high at work when I was in the landscape business, this tree had a 10 ft wide x 120 ft long area to drop it in.

Bill, I rented mine from United Rentals, they do deliver and pick up the bigger equipment.  James, I can hear the wind ripping, that was one thing I hated running the rental, that thing would to get to rockin' in the wind. I started keeping the basket against the tree and that helped with swaying. My younger days were spent in fire towers, some were at least 120ft. or more tall, climbing them wasn't easy either, the wind gusts would just about blow you off the platform, you kept your hand some at all times and anticipated the next gust. They do get to rockin' in high winds.

Mt younger brother was a window washer on the hi rise buildings in Columbus, Ohio. I always thought he was a little crazy.

Good Morning! Yesterday I had a fairly long for me reply almost done and my wireless key board quit working. I thought no problem go to the backup that I keep plugged in and stashed at the back of my desk, NOPE it didn't work either. My mouse was still working though so I shut it down and rebooted. Then all was well but I didn't feel like typing all of it again so I just went and did other things.


My wife goes back for her third day of Jury Duty today, in a court room but not a "selected" juror yet.


It is currently 40°F with temps around the valley floor in the 30's mostly with a low of 32°F about 2 miles from here. We had rain off and on all day yesterday but today it is supposed to be Sun and Clouds mixed with a 2% chance or precipitation and a high of 60°F.


I am not sure what I am going to do today, maybe some yardwork?

Uncle!

I had to take today off work.  Called in sick.  Needed to get some things done before more marathon work shifts at work starting tomorrow.  I’ll run some materials errands here soon, gathering things for the bathroom.  I feel the pressure to be in two places at once and always feeling behind both places.  This soon shall pass.

I have enjoyed sleeping in with Mrs. P this morning, a strong cup of coffee and three fried eggs for my breakfast and a little bit of time reading and now surfing 🏄🏼‍♂️.  I’m thinking about shooting an airgun here soon (after seeing John’s Aircuda arrival pics) then I’ll do some measuring and calculating for the faux ship lap and tile for the bathroom project.  Then I’ll. Go get the stuff.  I also need to get the outside Christmas lights down and packed away.  I’ll be checking back here periodically just for those short mental breaks as I go throughout my day.  👋🏼

We met in the 8th grade over the phone through a mutual friend.  Met in person in the 10th grade when our Jr. high schools combined for Sr. high.  Been friends during that time.  High school sweet hearts for our senior year, separated physically in a long distance relationship for military and college.  Got married at 19 and finished my military term and we relocated and she finished college while I worked.  We both worked for a bit and after 5 years we started a family.  She has been home ever since getting pregnant with our oldest.  It’s been a great ride and looking forward to much more.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! And I woke up to snow! I got up around 0500 and had my coffee. I need to shower and get dressed, but have no clue what we’re doing with the weather. There are school closures around us, but communication with our school has been less than desirable this year. The head bus guy quit over the summer. I need to go to see the chiropractor and I have a job on me for today. Once I’m ready to roll, I’ll call the school.

Got up at 4:30 and did the usual morning routine. At around 6:45 I went out and fired up the bottle gas heat in the 35 degree Red Shed and turned on a circulator fan. It's a vaulted ceiling and it helps to move the heated air around. Being 2/3 gravel floor, the stones maintain hot and cold temps.
I'll let it warm up in there a bit before I head out for today's airgun related activities.

0600 wake up.  Dr. appt @0720.  Come home and eat b-fast and do what ever until time to go play pops in pool.  Work after that.  Won’t be home again until late Saturday night, almost Sunday.  This is a regular theme these days.
