Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! And Happy New Year! I’m hoping and praying 2024 is a good year to all of us! No plans for today really. We got back from visiting my Mom and Sister last night and got unpacked. I went to bed around 2200 and got up just before 0730. I’m going to have my second cup o’Joe and start opening my support packages for the Airacuda Max that’s coming. My rifle should be here tomorrow or the next day.

You know what is one of the best things about the New Year for me? I get a book of 12 pages of targets with 28 - 31 squares on each page to shoot at.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! And Happy New Year! I’m hoping and praying 2024 is a good year to all of us! No plans for today really. We got back from visiting my Mom and Sister last night and got unpacked. I went to bed around 2200 and got up just before 0730. I’m going to have my second cup o’Joe and start opening my support packages for the Airacuda Max that’s coming. My rifle should be here tomorrow or the next day.

I hope JTS still sends this fix for the Max

Airacuda MAX floating breech Installation

Here is a copy of instructions send by Travis at JTS

1.   Locate the 5mm hex head bolt under the stock that holds the breech in and remove it, then separate the breech from the stock laying the breech down with trigger up.

2.   Locate the treaded hole behind the larger breech screw hole nearest the trigger assembly.

3.   Grab the stock adapter with bolt in it and attach it to the previous shown threaded hole and snug down.

4.   Apply foam tape to front of air tube where the stock rests. 3.5 inches from the air pressure gauge.

5.   Install stock and tighten down firmly then trim any foam from view or push it under the stock with a flat blade screw driver.

Happy New Year to all you crazies out there. Starting the new year off with a nailed tire first thing this morning, So that means I have to drag all the tire removal stuff out, take tire off, drive to PC to get fixed(road hazard warranty), come home and shove it back on, clean up the mess. Yep, it's never ending when it comes to mechanical things. As for the rest of the day, who knows what I will get into next.

 I woke up at 5:50 AM but stayed in bed for cuddling etc... got out of bed at 6:45 AM 


I am not sure what we will do today. It is currently 38°F and is supposed to get to 63°F today. I want to go for a motorcycle ride with my wife but she HATES riding if it isn't really warm so, that probably isn't going to happen. I may go for a short ride anyway but I like when she's on the back a lot better.

Thought about a solo ride today as well.
But like you said... Tandem is so much more better.

Today is the annual "Instead of Football" regatta.
It's a fun race with the winners name being drawn from a hat afterwards.
This video is from last year's regatta.  At 46 seconds in, my boat is visible.  It has "295" on the sail.

Thank you for that, Robert. I’m going to take it real slow getting my Max .22 set up. Every detail that I should know about it will be considered before I pump it up and shoot it.

That truly is Brilliant!!! I was about to toss my calendar from the garage into the burn pile. I think I’ll shoot mine backwards- from December to January ‘23 and see how the pellet holes line up from month to month. I’ll save this one for the Airacuda Max at 50 meters, I think.

   Going to watch college football all day with the wife. Plenty of good food and drink but not as much as usual as we just got back from the Peach Bowl last night.  My alma mater Ole Miss won over Penn State in a great game.  I kind of overindulged on the food and drink in Atlanta and need to scale back some this month.

Agreed, that whistling can be deafening. 
I thought I was being pulled over one time when I heard sirens behind me... about that time this biker chick blew past me.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up at 0500, back to the grind for me. I don’t have a job on me for today, but- we have the big annual safety meeting in Little Rock tomorrow. I need to get Ayrabella on the bus for school, then go get a haircut. I’ll call the office at 0800, unless they call me first. Either they have something for me to do first, or I can just take my time to get ready & head down to Little Rock. After I get checked into the hotel, while all the idiots are working on their blood/alcohol levels, I’m taking my Mom out to dinner. We don’t get a lot of time where it’s just the 2 of us. We’re going to a Mexican restaurant near her place so we can enjoy each other and talk over some good food.
