Its a beautiful day in Ashville NC. I think we will hop on the blue Ridge Parkway for a while this morning. I havnt been on it for quite a few years and I hope it’s not crowded

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I slept in until nearly 0730. I had a coffee and now I’m having a cuppa cappuccino with my Mom. We’re going to pack up today and head back home around lunchtime. About half of our drive is backroad ‘highway’ and half is the interstate. Very unusual to see any traffic. Still have to keep your eyes on the road and keep an extra eye out for crazies. Our visit has been pretty good, I do wish we lived closer still.

Got up at 5 this morning. Took care of the dogs and ran through the shower. After some coffee and surfing I went out to the Red Shed to see if I could wrap that Crosman 2100 class gun testing I've been doing in another thread. That didn't last long because it's only 30 degrees in there right now. I fired up the bottle gas heater to let it warm up in there. MSN says high of 67 and no rain to speak of today. Let's hope that ain't no lie. I wanna wrap the Crosman guns up and move on to the m/m Daisy 880 pumpers.

Happy New Year's Eve... or as I call it "amateur night".
We have reservations at a venue for "Reverse New Years". Starts at 12:00 noon and over at 18:00. We hope to be home before stuff gets crazy out there.

Alarm went off 0600. Up @ 0620ish. Dressed (shower the night before, I like going to bed fresh), coffee is hot with one in hand. When I hear Mrs. P stirring I’ll start into making cappuccino. Until then I’ll just sit here in the quiet stillness enjoying the warmth of the heat circulating around me as it flows out of the unit on the wall. The lights are low and it’s just nice to be home after 32 hours at work. I now get to enjoy these next 3 days off for the New Year holiday. Mrs. P is a wonderful woman. She has games, activities and food planned for the evening and into the night for all of us to do as we watch the clock roll into the new year. This morning will be SS and church. After that the schedule is open until whatever time we deem as the starting time for the evening’s festivities. If I don’t make it back here before tomorrow…. HAPPY NEW YEAR AIRHEADS! 🎈🎉🎊

Happy New Year to all. Not much other than air up a flat tire on one vehicle, start the next process for the rocks in the tumbler, and finish up the gate panel. Just taking it easy and staying off the roads for the next day or so. The trees and mailboxes around here are winning the battle.

Yep! Staying up until midnight just don't happen anymore for this guy. Wife will probably be up but not me.

I was awake and up at 2:57 AM today, three minutes before I planned on. I was in bed 5 hours and 19 minutes with 3 hours restful sleep. Woke up feeling good!

Sunday School and morning service over, lunch over, gloomy/cloudy, damp, and cool day, currently 56°F.

No evening Ch**ch service tonight, it seems like time for a short power nap. The only days I ever take a nap is Sunday sometimes unless I am sick. Today seems like a good day for one.
