Good morning, a damp and gray day but no rain. Load feeders for the zoo, check mail, go into town to get more zoo food and pick up some welding supplies, and check mail.

I'm awake don't really want to be but here I am. Head is really starting to hurt. Plan on going to the VFW for lunch then pick up the large monster from school. After we do homework it will be a daddy daughter day at dance. I have 2 left feet but aught to be fun.

Bill waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I was a young private in the army. I was in the field and some crusty old fart had a percolator on the ol pot belly stove. Man was that some thick coffee.

Yeah, I may go hard core with some Bustelo Cafe'.. black and thick. That outta get the motor running. 
I hear it cures the worms, they can't swim upstream.

Got an appointment to get a haircut 💈. Heck, might as well go all the way and get them all cut 🤔. Had a light rain last night and it's still a little cloudy but it's not as cold as it has been so don't really need to turn on the heater. It's the first rain since September. Been using a electric heater in the morning but because of the over cast the battery is a little low so if the wife when she gets up will just have to turn on the regular heater if it's to cold for her. Heck, it's already up to 53 now. Probably end up doing some burning of branches in the burn barrel.

We have one of those portable ceramic electric heaters we used in the RV. I just put it on in the living room for an hour or so to knock the chill off. If it were just me I wouldn't even bother. I do better in cold than heat. If it drops below freezing we'll use the propane wall unit just to keep pipes from freezing. Normally just dripping a faucet does the job.

I'm the same way. I'm real happy at around high 50s to low 60s unless I'm doing a lot of heavy work then 30s and 40s are great. Remember, women are from Venus and men are from Mars. Venus Venus is super hot and Mars is cold

I am on with my Verizon phone's hot spot my Cable is out this morning. Our power was out from 6:15 until 8:44PM and then again in the night. The Cable internet was offline when I got up. I was on chat with them and have a tech call setup for 6-7 PM tonight to get it back on.


  We got 1 1/4" of rain at my house yesterday.  no rain forecast for today and the high is supposed to be 71°F today, rain again on Friday and Saturday.

The Cable is back on now, they did say they had an issue with several houses in our area when I was on the phone with an agent but, no outage had been reported, I guess they fixed it down the road from us!

Finally! I found a barber who knows how to do a high and tight!🎇🎇🎇💈 Every other shop I've gone to I have to ask for a flat top. Of course my hair is so thin there's no way they can actually do one but it it gets what I want. She's only about 20 miles away instead of 60 and, if I schedule a appointment on Tuesday or Friday I can take my trash to the dump during the same trip.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I slept until just before 0500. The power went out last night and shutdown my CPAP. Not sure what time it was, but I yanked off my mask and went back to sleep. I woke up to find my wife sleeping on the couch with the LED camp lantern turned on in the middle of the coffee table. My guess is the power was out most of the night, but came back on before I got up. No job on me yet for today. But, I’ll get ready and go see my chiropractor, then call the office. I already got 42.75 hours, so if they have nothing for me to do, that’s fine. I have stuff that needs doing around the house before the rain that’s coming Sunday and the lower temperatures next week.

Mornin y’all.  There’s gonna be a GRF at the park today.  A bunch of brass and VIPs are gonna have a big dedication ceremony for our new boats. I have a violent allergy to brass.  I’ll be spending the day way back in the refuge as far from the dignitaries as I can get.

I been up since 5 sippin' on coffee, watching the news and surfing the web. Dogs ate and went out then they went back to bed.
Betty Lou stirred when I got out of bed and I asked if she wanted to got to the local breakfast joint when she got up. She moaned so I'm not sure what that means.
The shop needs cleaned back up after some recent projects. I'm sure I'll come up with something to do during that process.
I need to find something around here suitable to make a "lego" transfer port for one I put together from parts. The one I made from the plastic from a wire connector ain't cutting it. I can't believe that with all the "lego" guns I've tinkered with I don't have one. If I do it's hiding pretty good because I have looked everywhere.
