Birthdays are another one of those holidays that I just kinda let pass quietly into the night. I can't remember the last birthday cake I had. I'm sure Betty Lou has made a few over the years.

Birthdays are no biggie with us other than being kinda' glad we're having another one.  Enjoy your birthday.

My wife was gone house sitting yesterday, I have gotten an average of 3 1/2 hours sleep the last two nights mostly because the dogs didn't let me sleep uninterrupted, once I was able to get to sleep. I am finishing my coffee now.

Well, I am going to continue getting things outside ready for rain I am sorting and re-arranging my 28'x12.6' motorcycle/work carport. With things I inherited it became a mess that was overtaken by spiderwebs and clutter. I have been slow to accomplish little so far because I keep letting myself get distracted. I did make a lot of progress yesterday and should finish easily today. It is 62°F out now and will probably hit a dry comfortable 80°F this afternoon with just a sleight breeze at the peak today, so, the weather here is great!   


It's just real hard to focus while sorting/arranging inherited things!

Talked to my Dr yesterday about my MRI results... I may have to get a lawyer involved esp if I cant see a specialist. Anyhoo up late with my head feeling like its been tromped on buy an entire rugby team. After I drop the big monster off from school and homework I need to get some drill bits that can drill through the incredibly hard studs in the S10 exhaust system.

Hooked up the 1000 gallon water trailer last night and going to run in and get a load. Expecting rain starting tomorrow night through Sunday so don't want to take the chance the roads will get real muddy and we're down a 1000 in our storage tanks that feed the house. That will kill half the day.😡 It's only 25 miles round trip but 11 of that is 5 mph or less. Already had to have 2 springs replaced on the front axle.

Got back and pumped the water. Decided to change the oil in the water pump because it's probably never been changed since brand new. I bought the water trailer used when my neighbor moved to Iowa due to needing live at a lower elevation.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the work week and halfway through November already. I got up by the alarm at 0423… I was pushing the snooze button since 0400. I’m on my second cup o’Joe and I’ll get ready. I have my 0600 meeting and then a blower assembly to rebuild in an HVAC package unit. I’ve got help this time. Should be a good day, it’s going to get to 71* today. We have Wednesday night Ch**ch activities this evening. My wife pulled out her beef stew last night from the freezer for dinner for the rest of the week.

Mornin y’all.  Cool and drizzling this a.m.  Probabaly won’t be too many people want to take a boat ride today.  I heard the rain on the roof earlier and rolled over.  No reason to head for the woods this morning.

Busy day today.
I have already boxed up a couple items to be sent out to new homes so I'll need to stop at the PO.
That will be on the way to Troy, Al. First stop in Troy will be TSC to pick up a couple things. Then Betty Lou has a Dr. appt. Then to Walmart for monthly bulk groceries.
Back home to unload that portion then off to the local stores here in town to pick up the things we buy here.
I also have to call FDAR at some point and have some parts that are already picked sent.
It's a good day for this kind of stuff because a slow and steady rain has set in for the day and not much I can do outside.

Good morning, wind and rain for the day. The usual house chores, waiting on UPS to deliver this afternoon. I have some reloading I can do to make the day go faster. Finish weighing and sizing what I casted the other day. I'll probably go on out the shop later on and finish some projects out there as well.

I woke at 4:15 AM, I have had my coffee and need to head outside to finish some stuff before the rain gets here between 10-11:30 AM.

Heading up to Williams to do some grocery shopping. It's 10% off day for veterans and with using the Amex it totals 16% off with the cash back. Gotta do what you can to save money when retarded er retired. We've got rain moving in tonight so want to get everything done today. May not make a difference as it's been so dry the ground will probably s u c k up the rain so fast there won't be much mud. Doesn't look like it's going to be a gully washer. Just a nice gentle rain.

First leg of the day's journey is done. Bulk groceries are in and stored. Betty Lou's blood work is done. TSC for dogfood, check. And I got my parts ordered for the Sentry conversion to .22 ordered from FDAR.
Headed out the door to drop a couple things to be shipped at the PO and the local store run.
Even had time to grab a couple double cheeseburgers at Mickey Dee's.

That was close, I got done just as it started raining. 


Now I am going to relax for a while!

Whew... done for the day aside from one more bill to pay via the phone. I save that one for last because punching all them numbers into the automated bill pay is a pita. Account#, card#, date, security code, zip and amount. Then it reads it all back and asks to confirm.

Have you been in another room and had your wife start screaming and cussing saying someone is a airhole! I'm sitting on the throne and cringing think, okay, what did I do this time 😁. Come out of the restroom sweating bullets and it turns out the cat had been messing with the wife's medical supplies she was organizing into a emergency med kit that she is going carry in her vehicle. 🥵🥵🥵

We had Bible study 5:00-6:30 PM, the power went out about 6:15 and is still off. We were in the middle of a thunderstorm so it is probably a transformer or a downed power pole.


We are lit with LED battery lights now, using my laptop and hot spot, it's always hard to decide if I need to fire the generator. I guess I will visit the electric company web site and see if they have any predictions for restoring power.

Me and Rambo got up at 5. He ate but didn't want to go outside yet and went back to bed. I made coffee and watched the news as I was on the laptop.
The weatherman says only 20% chance of scattered showers today and temps in the upper 60s. I can work with that. We picked up a 12 cup campfire percolator coffee pot at Walmart yesterday and I'm going to put a pot on outside if my fire wood is dry after the rains we've had. The fridge in the Red Shed has a small freezer compartment that I keep a couple ice cube trays in. Once the temps warm up I may enjoy some iced coffee with the left over coffee.
Meanwhile I plan to get started on the trail blazing through the woods to the barn.
Betty Lou will be busy in the house cooking large batches of food for the freezer.

I'm awake don't really want to be but here I am. Head is really starting to hurt. Plan on going to the VFW for lunch then pick up the large monster from school. After we do homework it will be a daddy daughter day at dance. I have 2 left feet but aught to be fun.

Bill waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I was a young private in the army. I was in the field and some crusty old fart had a percolator on the ol pot belly stove. Man was that some thick coffee.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I slept in until 0600. I’m on my second cup o’Joe, still… but I need to get going. I have a freezer to work on today. They’re saying it’s at 53*, doesn’t sound good. You never know if it’s something I can fix on the spot or if they lost a compressor. It could be a long or a short job for the day.
