Took some pics to share of the progress outside of the Red Shed. Sorry about the quality it was dusk and I didn't let the cell focus and the flash was turned off.
I had asked Betty Lou to make a sign for above the roll up door. I asked her to just make something crude. She found an old hand saw and I think she nail the look. I'll post better pics tomorrow.

My condolences John.  Some times we are prepared for a friend or family member's passing.  It's those senseless and unexpected ones that seem the worst.

I got off to work too early this a.m.  to post a good morning so here it is belatedly.  Mawnin y'all!

I was prepping the boats alone this morning.  Right after I took a water sample I tripped on the uneven concrete dock.  I took a pretty good fall and was unable to roll and absorb the impact. Had to take it on my left hand.  I saved my shoulder at the expense of my left palm and wrist.  When you're 6'6" and 275 lbs. a fall like that is no joke at my age.  I stuck it out all day.  Drove four tours and had a really good time.  Lots of interested people on my boats today.  A lot of good questions.

Creature Feature tonight at the springs!  Wakulla Springs is the lair of The Creature From The Black Lagoon!.  The original movie and the second sequel were filmed at the springs back in 1954. So tonight we have erected an outdoor movie screen on the lawn behind the lodge and several hundred people have come to sit on the grass and watch the very first 3D horror movie.

Oh yeah.  Don't worry about me.  I dug down into THE BAG and found me a couple of Percocets.  I dropped both bracketed with 2 oz. of neat rum for protective escort.  Don't worry.  I'm a professional.  I've got a PHD in Recreational Pharmaceuticals from the Baby Doc School of Medicine in Port au Prince Haiti.  I've been practicing for years.

Thanks again, fellas, for your thoughts and prayers. Gil, he was at fault, crossed the lanes and both drivers were killed. These young guys will work way more hours than I’m willing to anymore. It’s not worth it.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I got just a little awhile ago, just before 0500. No alarm and no plans, I just got up to have some coffee and do some reading and some praying. Ayrabella is sick again, so we’re staying home. My wife, Andi will go to Church this morning, but not to group this afternoon. I am still on-call, but I haven’t gotten anything yet. The temperature is still dropping and it’s still raining. Ayrabella & I are going to clean up the living room today.

Wait for it to warm up a bit 🥶. With the wind chill it's in the high 20s. Need to mix up some mortar to fix some loose cap bricks on the retaining wall where we park. Never done it before but utube to the rescue and it's not rocket science. My problem is it's a 80 lbs bag and all I'm going to need is maybe 10lbs. Will probably just mix up the rest and pour it into the cavity in the bricks below the cap bricks.

Or you could put together a few form or find something to use such as aluminum pie tins and make stepping stones or bricks. Pie tins are cool because they give the stones some pattern on the edges.

We're back from an early morning local grocery store run. We just needed milk and a few impulse items. Betty Lou is going freezer diving for today's meals. She said she found a recipe to make a chili and cornbread pie type deal. She has chili in the freezer. She also has a garlic and herb rotisserie whole chicken in there that she broke down and froze for chicken salad. With that she is making home made tater salad. A variety of cold cuts were on sale. She bought several to make club subs. She has meals planned for a week.
I'm kinda taking the day easy. I pushed my old body pretty hard for the past few days and I'm feeling it. My feet, hips and back feel like the old days when I crashed dirt bikes. I got up twice last night and each time I watched 2 quarters of the Ohio State vs. Wisconsin game.

I was woke up @0600 this morning with a CRASH in the living room.  The cat (Buster) knocked over a tower clock medel we had on a bookshelf.  Picked it up, scolded the cat, went back to bed.  Up for round two @ 0800.  Coffee, reading, surfing, getting ready for SS and church.  Defrosting the van currently.  Hope to relax and shoot this afternoon and have an outdoor fire.

Sam try to get them to fix the deck so no one else trips and falls there. I didn't fall like you but I'm sore as all get out from some hard work I did yesterday. some rest and a couple of Aleve are all I need though nothing stronger than that.

John you're right when people don't live a healthy balance or work and off time it can catch up to you. Sad the other driver had to pay for it too though. Makes you wish if it had to happen that he would've hit a tree instead of another driver.
