Up at 4am and put coffee on. Dogs got up around 4:30 so I fed and let them out. It began to get light out shortly after 6am so I got dressed and headed out to the Red Shed and fired up "casting corner".
I'm going to make a run of the 217 20 RF from the 2 cav brass mold. I have the long pins in and they should drop around 19 - 20 gr.
Both of my other molds are aluminum and typically they are easier to pour. I wish I could get comfortable with Wayne's pressure pour. I just can't master it.
I also have plans to work on the 3 shooting range areas.

Good morning I was up after 4:43 of sleep. Today is my wife's weekly stitching day, she also hangs out with her sister and they go visit mutual friends after their stitching group and lunch out too. Bottom line is she is gone most of the day every Thursday. I'll find stuff to do to keep busy while she is gone.


 I see I have a package coming USPS today and don't know what it is, I have some things ordered but they all have different tracking numbers, all accounted for. So we'll see if it is just some junk mail that has been given a tracking number or if the wife or I forgot about something? There is an outstanding order for a target/trap I ordered and was sent back to the sender for an unknown reason, which I reordered and am waiting for a shipping update so, it could be that? I have had a couple of times in the past when packages have been given new tracking numbers after the original tracking info was given, so it's a wait and see game now.

Today is yet more work on [a city in Texas]'s database.  It's been a frustrating but enlightening experience.

After that, I'm moving to another Texas customer (a law enforcement agency) and devising a clean way to purge a buncha non-relevant data.  Luckily, my Team Lead will likely be working with me as time permits.


This afternoon will involve MSPs and both .20 and .22 caliber pellets interacting with cans violently.

32 year anniversary today.  Mrs.P and I will be heading out soon to spend the afternoon and evening together.  We have dinner reservations @ 1700 tonight.  Until it’s time to leave I think I’ll go do a little reorganizing in the shop/shed areas and throw a pellet or two out of an airgun.  But first I need to finish off the last of my cup of coffee

I really have to weigh my injuries before I get an MRI. There are few things in this world I dislike more than being confined in the tube. And every time it hammers I picture myself being shot out the muzzle end. They had a portable one in a trailer the first MRI I got before my shoulder surgery. It was extra small. My back, shoulders and chest touched the sides. I referred to it as a .177 and asked if they had anything in big bore. That was the one and only time I let them schedule me there. I drove an extra 30 miles to a larger one.

I'm not much of a fan of them either. Ill take a ride in the hammer toob if it helps figure out these headaches.

Got a surprising amount done today. I just went at a slow but steady pace and when I finished one thing I moved right to the next.
I got a test run of pellets poured, tumbled, weighed and tested. Got "casting corner" cleaned and organized. 2 targets ranges moved. The second got a complete fresh coat of paint.
Made a plan to move the ATV Quonset moved to a better location tomorrow. I'll jump right on that at first light in the morning. Then I want to get some of these leaves raked up and burned. I have a mess of repurpose lumber to stack. I need to get it up off the ground to keep it dry.
Betty Lou is a huge help. She don't have a stop mode. She did all of the painting.

Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes!  We had a great time.  Stopped and got coffee once we reached the city.  Hung out for a few then decided to head over to a park by the sound.  Walked and talked until dinner time.  Headed over to find parking then went in for our dining experience.  Afterwards we went on a scenic city drive and headed home.  It was nice to just be together just the two of us. 

Just got home.  Went next door to my daughters where the rest of our people were having a get together.  Now I’m home and enjoying some milk and cookies.
