I agree Carter, I'm also on Air Gun Forum. It's a U.K. based forum and I just love reading the different ways and words they use.  Just a couple of examples...
Car Park = parking lot
Pavement = sidewalk
Bin = trash can

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump-Day again!!! I got up, 30 minutes before my alarm, at 0400. I did get a full days work in yesterday, but I don’t have a job on me yet for today. I have my 0600 meeting this morning, so I’m having a couple cups o’Joe, and I’ll get ready.

On the subject of language use in the UK…
My wife was born in England and didn’t come to the USA until she was in the 3rd grade. Not very often, but she says some funny things every now and then. She is very adamant that motorcycles and dirt bikes are called “motorbikes”. I’m glad I’ve pretty much given up riding on the street or in the dirt for fear she’ll tell people about our “motorbikes”. She doesn’t have a British accent, but sometimes when she talks the expression might come out British, it always makes us laugh.

Not a good night for sleeping. I think I woke up at least once every hour. Once completely sweat soaked. I finally stopped fighting and got up at 6am. I made coffee, took care of the dogs and took a shower.
We appear to be stuck in a weather pattern for the next several days... dry and low 80s.
Roses Discount opens at 9am and I plan on going to get oil to change the oil on the Kodiak 450. I did the Rancher yesterday but didn't have enough for both.
I also need to pick up some mouse traps. Betty Lou said she has been seeing turds on the counter and table in the kitchen. We can't be havin' that.
I need to clean and organize the work benches in the Red Shed. I have a bad habit of just letting stuff pile up as I do various projects. Then I may fire up casting corner and pour some pellets.

Mornin yall!  It's another beautiful day in paradise!  At my age that means I got up this a.m. without too much pain.

Nothing on the agenda (yet) but shooting BB guns!  My truck is in the shop but I might borrow mom's Jeep and head down to Bald point with a cast net.  The shrimp are poppin off Alligator point and there may be some mullet schooling up for the spawning run in Chairs creek.  This is the busy season for us Hunter/Gatherers.

Sounds like you need a cat Bill.  If Boss and Rambo would suffer it to live.

I typed the first sentence and then my keyboard function quit. I changed the batteries with new ones, still nothing. My mouse was still working, so I rebooted and now it's back.

I had a somewhat restless nights sleep also.  Finally had enough at 0715 and got up and got dressed.  I just heated up some water for coffee and I’m sipping that now while surfing.  The rain stopped some time last night but everything is wet.  I think it’s supposed to be dry the next few days.  I hope to shoot some air power today.  I need to get a couple solar LED lights installed in the storage area and get things moved in and organized.  I may work on that today.

My wife has been is processing/juicing pomegranates since they are ready now. She has gotten good at it and I drink pomegranate iced tea as a result of her ambitious labor of love. I just went out and picked some more of them for her to do today, at her request.    She has gotten about 1 1/2 gallons of juice so far this month and is putting containers in the freezer to use as needed.


There is still 1/2 of the harvest of pomegranates on the tree to be had. I do wish we had gotten the ground squirrel trap out there earlier as they got about a 1/3 of what the tree produced before we started trapping the offenders. We also have offered and have had people from the Church take what they wanted the last couple of weeks too.

I remember those So/Cal pomegranate trees.  We had a couple in our back yard in north Hollywood.  One season my housemate borrowed a commercial juicer  and we drank fresh pomegranate juice for two weeks.  I miss the avocado trees too.

When I was growing up, most of my family lived in South Florida, I had access to all kinds of tropical fruit. My favorite was mango, my grandfather had about 10 Haden mango trees, 3 or 4 avacado trees( smooth skin variety), turpentine mangos, wild grapes, orange, tangerine, lime and key lime trees, banana trees, guavas, carissas, barbados cherry, and one heck of a vegetable garden. All that's gone now, noting but asphalt and concrete.

Plans, well finish up the chicken pen saga, mail run, rebuild slug trap melt the lead from it. Just taking it as it comes no schedule or deadlines to meet.

Finally finished installing the starlink. Would have been done last night but sc#wed up on the routing of the cable down from the antenna and had to take all of the cable clamps back off along with disconnecting the cable and routing the cable correctly. Man what a difference in speed!🥰 My wife and I can stream utube videos at same time with no delays where before just one of us trying to would have the quality automatically set down to 144p.
Neighbors came up to their shtf home and needed me to go over and help move a double recliner out of the house and bring a different one back up into the house. My neck, shoulders, and back are totally trashed! The one we took out of the house must of weighed 200 lbs. The one we moved into the house was lighter at only(?) 150 lbs. I wonder if I'll be able to move tomorrow?🤕🤕😂 Dang I'm such a weak old man😡😡

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up at 0500. It’s raining outside and looks like we’re supposed to get some rain right through the weekend. I’m glad, it’s been so dry here. Today I have a 4 door freezer to repair. New door gaskets and a condensate pump. Not sure what else, I wrote this job up, but someone else already did first and I think we’re going with the other quote. Coffee first, of course.

Morning gang. Up at 0400 CDT, had breakfast, drinking 100% Columbian coffee on the patio.

We have a little Carolina Wren that has decided she likes to spend the night in the garage.

Silly me! I love birds and when she's out there from 1840 untill 0640; we try to avoid going into the garage between those times. She's up usually around this time, like clockwork.  So I went out the front door and walked around to the back to avoid waking her.

While typing this I noticed that she's up now, just a singing. She is in the Bradford pear tree right above me.

By the way I named her Cathy.
