Mornin y'all.  Up at 0600 to walk the puppy.  I've been out throwing the tennis ball to exercise her.  The memsahib and I have to go to town for the monthly round of doctors and dentist.  We can leave our other dogs loose while we're gone but Belle has to go in the kennel since she is far too destructive yet.  We'll be gone a few hours and I wanted to make sure she got to run some first.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump Day!!! I got up at 0430 by my alarm. I have my 0600 meeting, which we haven’t had in a few weeks. Then I have to go pick up my tractor and drop it off at home. It developed a noisy piston slap and they fixed under warranty. Then I have to go to work.

Woke up at 5am. Fed Rambo and let him out. Boss and Betty Lou are still sleeping. Made coffee and sat down to pay bills.
Once Betty Lou gets up and we get our showers we'll head to Troy for some grocery shopping.

Up and full steam ahead, pay bills, run into mad max city,(panama city) to pick up some things and look for hunting stuff, pick up the mail, take care of some tech business, and anything else that needs to be taking care of. Not going anywhere this weekend due to the bike week mess.

I hear ya, all through my biker years they tried to get me to go to events such as bike weeks and Sturgis. No thank you.
I did the bike nights at a select few local bars but that was about all the crowds I wanted.

I have been to Daytona, Panama City, and few other smaller ones around the state. I have been whacked on one and walked away from it. Gave it up 7 years ago due to the fighting and stupid drivers. Had one in the county get rear ended and sent to the hospital on Sunday. I rode like everyone was out to kill me, I anticipated what the driver was about to do, I have split lanes few times to keep from being creamed in the rear, dodged people pulling out in front of me, avoided lane changing side swipes, and other evasive maneuvers to stay alive. I love riding them but I also love living as well.

I live within an hour of Laconia where they have the huge bike rallies every June.   When I was younger I went on my bike a few times and it could get pretty miserable sitting on a hot bike in a giant traffic jam of stinking hot motorcycles.   But at the same time it was kind of a rush with thousands of engines vibrating the ground and air.   I really don't like crowds of people or bikes so for me it's better to go on a tues or weds, anything but the weekend.   My wife and I have ridden our dirt bikes in the charity enduro event at Laconia but that's in the woods and you only have a couple hundred dirt bikes spread out over miles of mud instead of thousands of street bikes on top of each other.   Haven't been for a few years, maybe next june.

Just finished taking another load of firewood up to our neighbors and will be giving one of our retrievers a bath because he's going to the vets tomorrow to get a broken tooth pulled. Can't figure out how he broke a tooth but found a few drops of blood on the floor and after checking the obvious places on all of the dogs wife for some unknown reason thought to check tobies mouth. Woop,dar it was!

How long did they have to keep it? Every time I take mine to it's shop where it was purchased it takes 6mo-1yr+.

Is exactly why I quit any cycle riding. Wish my friend would've said the same and still been here but he got killed on his cycle by a bad driver who fled the scene.

I still ride but most of it is only dirt roads. I've got a half a million miles on the street and only was hit 1 time. I did get hit when riding on the back of my dad's Harley in the late 50s but didn't get a scratch but at 7 years old you bounce like a over drawn checking account.😂😂

That is another reason I quit the bikes, the thought of being hit and the jerk leaving me for dead. There is a lot of that going on around here lately. The reasons are endless, no DL, arrest warrant, violation of probation, domestic issues, no insurance, and so on. I to have lost friends that rode and were killed by stupid drivers.

They had it 2 weeks. They said the #2 injector failed, #1 injector was going. So, they replaced all 3 injectors under warranty. I was happy to hear it running strong and have it back.
