Good evening, late update, I got up at 4:00 AM today and we had Ch**ch from 8:30 AM until about 11:00 AM.


 The Ch**ch decided to canceled our evening service so I had lunch, relaxed, and then packed my stuff for for the retreat at Hume lake. We need to leave our house at 3:40 AM in the morning to meet up with another couple that are going and Caravan and avoid bad morning traffic. There is usually no cell or internet service there except for emergency use, SO... I will be missing from here until late Wednesday. Our house sitter is here so she can feed and care for the pets too. The wife and I will get to bed early tonight and I hope to sleep despite the schedule change? We will take a Monday afternoon nap at Hume if needed? I am not going to sweat the small stuff!

Good Monday Morning.
Seems like I slept in one hour intervals last night. After the 2nd or 3rd time getting up , Betty Lou gave up and went to the spare room to sleep. I told her I would go but she insisted. Rambo went with her and Boss went to her bed in the living room. Woke up again at 3:30 and after looking at the clock for 30 minutes, I got up and put coffee on. The dogs got up and ate, went outside and now they are back to bed.
Ben Lang says it's 48* out and only going to get to 65*. Maybe a warm up coming later in the week to upper 70s and maybe some rain.
Not much planned for today. Putter around in the shop and stalk them squirrels.
We noticed the new neighbors moving furniture in Saturday and Sunday. That field was wet after it rained all night Friday and it sounded like they got a truck and trailer hung up in their makeshift driveway. I kinda seen that coming because were driving onto the property in the lowest spot. After living here for several years I knew that's were the most water laid when it rained. He's going to need to haul several loads of gravel in if he plans on that being the permanent driveway. I didn't find it my business to warn him. Some folks don't appreciate other's opinions. It's been a garden that has been tilled and planted twice a year for many years. It's anything but firm ground. But once they get it right it will be an awesome flat 3 acre yard with plush green grass due to all the treatment it's had over the years.

Morning Bill. I have nights like that occasionally. I got up at 4:00 this morning, and it's 49° with a high of 65° today. I'm sitting outside in my cargo shorts and fluorescent orange hoodie by my electric tower heater enjoying coffee and contemplating my day.

Yep, I'm headed for the shower then get my old butt motivated. Bout done with my first 20oz. cup of joe then I'll grab another to take outside with me.
Think I'll fire up "casting corner" in case I get the urge to pour some lead.

I decided to follow your lead so after my shower I grabbed a fresh coffee, my vape stick and the tablet and headed out to the front deck to watch the morning wash away the night. It's a bit brisk out here but it's way better than those oppressively hot and humid days that we usually have around here. I always said that I can put more clothes on when it's cold but I can only take so many off when it's hot. Exposure to the elements is not only not good for me, it may be troubling for others as well.

 The internal alarm clock went off at 05:30 just like home. Sitting on the patio drinking Expresso and watching the sun rise over the ocean.

I have a gun rack on my Yamaha 4-wheeler . The electric Ezgo cart is still a work in progress.  I have installed front driving lights, 3  LED light bars ( two towards the front, one towards the rear ) wig-wag hazard lights, tail lights, brake lights, interior lights, dash lights, glove box lights, overhead dome lights, .... I think that's all the lights.

Just recently I replaced the rear flip up seat with an new kit. A Gun rack IS my next project for it. I think I have an old gun rack that came out of an old 1972 Chevy pickup I once had.

The electric (quiet ) cart definitely helps me sneak around the property.

A side-by-side would be great.  I can't justify a "side-by-side" yet... my taste are too expensive for my pocketbook.

I have often considered trading both of our ATVs for a side by side but Betty Lou ain't having it. She wants her own ride. I don't think she trusts me.

Ah a day I got up early. Been up and in bed since 430... Gonna go deposit my lost wages check and go to physical therapy, these headaches are not going away. Then maybe help my brother put his car back together so I can get my S10 back.

Up and slow moving, I am having trouble sleeping as well, between the cold and the shorter days may have triggered it. Anyway, call the repair place and line up the truck for repairs, tired of the misfires, back fires, and it running like lop sided washer. This is one repair that I will have to pay somebody for. Then finish the chicken stuff, shift stuff out of the truck from fishing to hunting. Wait for UPS to show up, it's one of those that require signature.

Mornin y'all.  For once I slept well.  Up at 0600 this a.m. to feed the puppy and let her out.  The other two dogs just lay there next to the memsahib.  So I joined them.  Awakened again at 0900 with the puppy dancing on my head.  She's between fifty and sixty lbs. now so it kinda gets your attention.  I'm cooking breakfast cause the memsahib never touches the stuff.  Spiral sliced ham, fried eggs, grits, toast, and my usual two liters of RC cola (nectar of the gods!).  After breakfast the dogs clearly have plans for me.  I see a long walk and probably some tennis ball throwing on my agenda.

Hope your girl's feeling better John. Been thru some of the same stuff the past 2wks with the flu so I did hardly nothing in that time and lost a lot of strength. Back working again and will take time to not feel so weak.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Got up at 0500, albeit by my alarm. I’m just not waking up early on my own like I was used to. But, I’m up and having my coffee. I have a pm to do, preventative maintenance at a site I haven’t been to yet. I’ll have my second cup o’Joe and get rolling about 0630.
