Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Camped out in the living room one last time. We got up just before 0730. Ayrabella is feeling much better, her stuffy nose was clear last night, but sort of back again this morning. Hopefully, she’ll get over it today, she has to go to school tomorrow. Not much planned for today, but now we still need to clean up the living room. I really hope we get to shoot some airguns together at some point today.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! It’s Hump-Day already! I got up at 0600, started the coffee and tried to get Ayrabella up for school. Her cold & stuffy nose is still lingering on a bit. She woke me up at midnight, her right ear was plugged and she scratched it until it hurt. Got her back to bed quick enough, but she still doesn’t feel well. I let her go back to sleep and I’ll have to call the school. I planned on getting the mowing and trimming done, and I still might be able to do so. We’ll see. Mama flies back home later today, we’ll be glad to have her back. She’s definitely a better nurse than I am.

Mornin y'all.  I'm a boat captain today.  Should be relaxing now that the summer madness is over.  The river is a bit eutrophic right now and not real clear.  Makes spotting critters underwater more difficult.  All of our old boats have been replaced with these awful clumsy pontoons that have a terrible turning radius and too much power.  It won't be as much fun as it has been but it still beats working for a living!

Clean fish, boat, and gear. Clean out the post office, I haven't been up there lately and they are probably tripping over my stuff. Later on, work on the art work for the gate. The weather is suppose to be nasty through Friday, I am hoping it is cleared out by the weekend because it's the beginning of SQUIRREL SEASON!!!!

Morning..
Been up and round since 4:00am. Coffee, dogs fed and let outside. When daylight broke I ventured out myself. So far I have been able to organize and clean 2 of the 4 work bench areas in the Red Shed. These are the casting and compressor benches. I still have the actual tool work bench and the drill press/grinder bench to go.
Rambo and I walked the perimeter earlier. He suddenly stopped as if he saw a ghost and I heard a heavy whoosh whoosh sound overhead. I looked and saw no less than 25 buzzards in a tree above us. All of them the size of a large turkey or bigger. They sat perfectly still in the branches of that tree. It was eerie like looking at gargoyles or something from a movie. Rambo was frozen in his tracks.
Then all of a sudden they all took flight at once. The force of their wings flapping moved tree branches. They flew north in a flock formation and it sounded like a helicopter. When Rambo finally moved he went straight for the door and wanted in the house.

John, are you sure she's not allergic to something in the carpet if you any? Carpet can really collect a lot of nasty crud and if she was sleeping on the floor her face would've been real close to that stuff.

Bill that's common for me with all the pests I kill and toss into the woods. Amazing sound with all those wings flapping. Poor Rambo must have thought if a little mocking bird tries to kill me then with these huge birds I'm a goner for sure this time! Tagged a hog today with the AR so the vultures will feast on the guts tomorrow. No more rooting up my place for that one.

Yeah well I'm still payin 50 bucks a month for the benefit of that college edumacation so I still got one more $25 word to go this month.

Got a helper coming over tomorrow to help cut down a bunch of dead trees. Got the chainsaws all gassed up and the chain oil full. We'll see how much we get done. Haven't had the time to do any cutting because of all of the work we've been putting in to the travel trailer snow coating and resealing the windows and lights.

Well we waited on the Costco run until today, and only spent $565 and $202 of that was a annual executive reward credit. So not too bad this time.

That is possible, Robert. The carpet in the living room is actually a remnant that we’ve had since Ayrabella was a baby, 10+ years. We have hardwood floors, I’ve told my wife that since we have no more dogs we should get rid of that rug and get an area rug. We just haven’t done it yet.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up at 0500 and I’m on my second cup o’Joe. Mama’s home and it’s back to the grind for me. I have a compressor to pickup at 0800 and a crane will show up at 0900. I have a helper coming to meet me to replace a compressor in a rooftop HVAC unit and a bunch of electrical repairs too. It should be a good day as long as everyone shows up when they’re supposed to and nobody is waiting on somebody.

GOOD MORNING GTA !!!!!

Up at 5:00 am and ran through the typical routine. Weather for today is predicted to remain between 60 and 65 with a very slim chance of rain after 8:00 am. It's a bit misty out there right now. Not sure if it's been enough to lift the burn ban they put on us last week. I don't pay much attention to those bans because I don't leave fires unattended but Betty Lou is kinda of a stickler about them. I got trimmings and clippings I'm itching to burn.
The plan, once a drag my lazy butt to the shower a get motivated, is to head to the Red Shed. I want to move some compressors around to make it a bit more convenient to fill guns at the newly positioned shooting bench.
I'll most likely continue with some casting that I started yesterday.. building up my .25 pellet supply.
I also have the urge to shoot the Urban.

Well, we're up.  We got our annual Physical and Flu shots yesterday and a Pick Up order at WALMART while we were in Jacksonville.  I'm fixin' to go for my PT session and after that we'll take a sample, that I couldn't produce yesterday, up to the hospital.  After lunch, I want to shoot a few spoons with my R9 and perhaps a few targets with my D34 and then, maybe take a little nap.

Yes sir it's really good! Brine the meat for a couple days in ice water then chow down. Not much belly fat for bacon on them like farm hogs because they roam wide territories. Pretty much avoid the front legs from all the thorns stuck in them but yes they're tasty. The little piglets are tender critters and great size for the grill too!
