Working today per usual.  I'll be hitting some patio furniture with paint; we picked up a nice set curbside and it is now time to make them purty.  4 chairs, 2 spring-rockers, and a table; lots of loose flaky paint and some light rust, but a little elbow grease and wire wheels/brushes handles clean-up quite well.  We've been tackling some back-burner projects lately with more fervor now that the weather is cooperating.  Humid hot days are no fun for stripping rust and loose paint.

I ended up getting stung in my right arm about where a person would receive a shot. Not sure what it was as it got caught under the sleeve of my t shirt and when I raised my arm it stung me. I lowered my arm and it flew off. I gotta tell ya that thing still hurts bad 4 hours later 😡🤬😡….Hope it'll stop hurting by morning.🙏

Dang, Robert, In my line of work, there’s plenty of opportunity to get stung or bit. 4 hours later is a pretty long time to still feel that sting or bite. I sure hope & pray that you get to feeling better. 🙏

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up at 0530. We got some pretty hard rain when we went to sleep last night. The rain has moved on, but temperatures are really supposed to start cooling off over the next few days. After I get Ayrabella off to school, I have a doctor’s appointment at 0800. I was going to the doctor monthly, but now that it’s a regular thing and I’m doing good it’s a quarterly thing. Blood draw and I should be out and I’ll head to work. Preventative maintenance today at a United Rental equipment store. Pretty easy week this has been.

Wife and I are snow coating the roof of the travel trailer. Actually coating most of the roof isn't hard it's just cutting in around the sky lites vents and AC plus all around the edges. We have to do 2 coats today so it's going to be a long day.😁😁😵‍💫

Thanks John. It was okay this morning with no I'll affects. It been decades since I've been stung so wasn't sure how my body would react. Glad it was me instead of the wife. She's so allergic to so many things that I might of had to take her to the hospital.

Afternoon Y'all.  Been off line for a while.  I got new calipers, pads, and rotors on the Ranger.  In a bit the memsahib is going to help me bleed the brakes.  Hopefully we will not see brake fluid dripping.  I will shoot an airgun at some point today.  Just not sure when

My wife has helped me bleed brakes more than once.   She didn't seem to enjoy it as much as I did and I don't enjoy it very much at all.  I have a pump up pressure bleeder now.

My wife has helped me bleed brakes more than once.   She didn't seem to enjoy it as much as I did and I don't enjoy it very much at all.  I have a pump up pressure bleeder now.

I've got one also but it goes much faster if she pumps the brakes a few times in conjunction with the vacuum pump.  We got-er-done and stuck the wheels back on.  A road test revealed that we've only got about 75% brakes so there is some more bleeding to do.  I'm not surprised.  These are brand new calipers and I always have to bleed them a couple of times before they are right.

Well, the snow coat is done finally!! 😀 then I filled up the 4 tires then fixed one of the doors that wasn't locking right. We had to remove the door to reseal the frame with some puddy tape. We use to use the same stuff to seal our vacuum bagging to cure the part in the autoclave. I guess the frame didn't go back in exactly the same as it was. Just need to seal the windows with some self leveling sealant and the dang thing will be finished. I doubt we'll ever go anywhere with it. It's mainly a place for company to stay as our house is only 1000 sq ft.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!!

I guess I’m so excited for my second-in-a-row 5 day weekend, I fired off as soon as I typed “Happy Friday!!!”…
Last night, my wife was not so nice about the stuff Ayrabella & I are doing/not doing while she’s on vacation… I didn’t feel too good about that, took the wind right out my sails. So, I got up this morning at 0500, I’m on my second cup o’Joe and I’ll get ready to face the day. The temperature has dropped, it’s only 57* out and I’m glad about that. After I get Ayrabella off to school, I’ll visit my chiropractor and go to work. I’ve got a freezer or cooler down. After work, I’ll start my 5 days off. We’re going to straighten up this place to cover the stuff my wife says we’re not doing. I’m not going to worry about the stuff “we are doing”, she’ll get over it. My wife gets back home on Wednesday. I’m hoping she’ll cool her jets by then.

Thanks Bill, we’re good… I work hard and get way more stuff done than my wife gives me credit for. We’re both a couple broken people with lots of garbage in our past and I don’t sweat it, not too much. Just enough.

I'm still in the midst of The Big Vacation!  I have a tele-medicine appointment today.  Maybe.  My doctor's office is trying this new thing and their staff is not very good at it.  We've tried the Tele-medicine thing before and both times it ended with a dropped call and a lot of confusion so I'm not sanguine about today.  Other than that I've got to bleed the brakes on the truck and arrange some on-line training but I don't have to leave the shack today if I don't want to.

First thing is medication!  Better living through chemistry!

I got TWO college degrees which ain't never done a thing for me.  Still paying the student loans on one of them.  Ever so often I get the urge to bust out one a them college educated words to justify some of the money I spent!

There's also a rather subtle pun there about "bleeding" the brakes but you'd have to be as pompous as me to get it.
