Ya'll have a habit wrecking keyboards and screens.     Anyway, up early this morning, a little pest patrol, work on some art work, eat lunch, work on chicken pens and air guns. Like I don't have enough to do around here as it is. Depending on the weather tomorrow, I may go fishing since it has cooled of some.

And I care too, I have known several functional addicts' that seem to have a daily plan of self destruction. It's easy to get caught up in so many different things, that at least waste time.
 I know I waste too much time myself.


 Drinking or drug use is not that much different than adrenalin in my case, and I suffer for it because of the risks I took for fun. I'm too stiff and in too much pain to do the crazy stuff anymore. For years I had to find my limits by exceeding them, it is the only way to know for sure. LOL 


 My stunt success rate was pretty high though, and the failures were spectacular too.

So glad mowing season is over for me. Over the winter I cant wait for spring to come to fire up those mowers, but two months after, it's already overwhelming for me.

Thrilled it's over and longing for the winter as no more heat, lower allergies, no bugs, spider webs in the face ect.

Good afternoon GTA! I’ve been busy, for sure. Happy Anniversary Wendell, to you and your Mrs. I got Ayrabella off to school and I got to work today, thawing and cleaning a wall cooler, got it up & running. Once it gets to temperature, I’ll have to head home to get Ayrabella off the bus from school and resume Mr. Mom duties. We’ve been doing pretty good and having fun.

Woke up at midnight or shortly after and went to the bathroom. Didn't think I could get back to sleep without waking up those other living creatures that stay here. I came out and got a small bowl of Raisin Bran. Then I went to the spare room to see if I could sleep. At 4:15 Rambo found me and began his stand up routine impersonating an alarm clock set on bark. Boss soon joined in with back up vocals. I knew if I just ignored them Betty Lou would get up and take care of them but knowing that I already had my ration of Raisin Bran for the day I didn't want to be restricted to a second bowl for breakfast. So I sacrificed myself and got up.
The two piece band ate and went outside. Apparently the serenade in the bedroom was just a warm up to the main set they had planned for outside. This time they took the show on the road and circled the property singing the chorus.
By then all thoughts of further sleep were a forgone hope, at best. I went to the kitchen to put the coffee on and could see the bathroom light come on. Well, at least I could blame it on the dogs and still hold out hope for an egg sandwich later.
So, what's my plan for today? Well, aside contemplating digging 2 dog size holes in the backyard, not much else at the moment.
BTW.... now the singing duo has come out for an encore only this time they brought in a guest singer, Betty Lou. They are all snoring in 3 part harmony...

Too funny, Bill, but I know the scenario… forever, the dogs got up with me. We’re still not ready for dogs, but our house is too quiet.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up just before 0500, 0453 and started the coffee. Ayrabella has picture day at school, so she’s up and getting ready. I have a big heavy fan motor and electronic drive parts to replace in an air conditioner unit up on the roof. So… we need to get going!

Mornin y'all.  I'm still on vacation.  The puppy woke me at 5:45 and wanted out.  The other two dogs just lay there.  Let the pup out, fed her, and went back to bed.  10 minutes later she's dancing on my head wanting to play.  The memsahib got her settled down and we drifted off til about 9.
Today is rebuild the brakes on the Ranger day!  Got all the stuff to do it yesterday.  Sure wish I had a concrete slab to work on.  Not looking forward to doing this in the yard again.

  I got up at 6:30 after a mostly restless nights sleep. Both of my hips joined in with the all other painful places and made laying down mostly miserable last night. Somehow I still feel like I slept almost enough after 1 hour 50 minutes of restful sleep according to my smart watch.

  I am think I going to go through every nook and cranny in my office/man cave today (or start on it), looking for the two missing pocket knives. I have 27 file drawers, and 8 desk drawers, 9 file boxes, in my room and shelves and a gun safe, and 7 tool boxes so it will take most or all day or longer to look everywhere. I am sure I will get distracted by other finds along the way, LOL. Yes I need a bigger office or another room for airgun stuff. Of course I am going to start with the most likely places and do a thorough search of each as I go until I find the pocket knives or have gone through it all.


 At this point it is as much about deep cleaning as searching and I will see a lot of things I have not taken time to get out or thought about in a while, hence the distractions.


  Well I am done with my coffee and am going to get started now.

Good morning, hump day for you working chaps, just mid week for us retired folk. Up at 4:15 am,  just about finished with breakfast, making coffee now, then I'll head out to the patio to enjoy watching and listening to the critters begin to wake up and start moving around.

Hopefully the rubber butt plate arriving today will fit my D34 with a little grinding and shaping.

Rambo started his junk at 4am this morning. I was able to threaten his life enough to make him shut up for another 30 minutes. At that point he was able to threaten mine via Betty Lou. So I got up and fed him... Boss was on her bed in the living room and opened one eye as I passed on my way to the kitchen but didn't show any interest in getting up.
I put the coffee on while Rambo ate then I headed for the bathroom. I completed that ritual just in time for coffee to be ready and Rambo to be done eating. I grabbed a cup and my vape and he and I went out so he could take his turn at the morning ritual. Once he finished laying his land mine we came in and he went back to bed. I'll put on my blast suit and dispose of that later.
We need to make a milk and bread run today. Other than that, I haven't laid in any solid plans. Lots of options so I'll just take it as it comes.

Good morning GTA! Good morning Dan & Bill! Happy Wednesday, it is Hump-Day! I got up at 0525 and I’m having my coffee. Rain was supposed to be here at 0600 and we were supposed to get 2” of rain. Now, they say 1” of rain and not supposed to start until noon. I don’t have a job on me yet for today. I need to get Ayrabella up at 0600 and get her ready and off to school. I’ll go get a haircut around 0700 and have to call the office around 0800, if they don’t call me first.

Going grocery shopping today. 10% off for veterans so between that and the 6% we get back 16% off of our over priced food. Gotta work the system.😁 It's a 43 mile drive one way to the closest store.

Well, there's 2 truck stops getting built in town and one is huge. We're thinking that it won't be long until there's a grocery store built. Up until now the only place to get food is the family dollar. Interesting thing is where are the truck stops going to find enough people to work there. One of our friends,Kisty had to close her restaurant in town because she couldn't find enough reliable help to work there.

I ended up getting stung in my right arm about where a person would receive a shot. Not sure what it was as it got caught under the sleeve of my t shirt and when I raised my arm it stung me. I lowered my arm and it flew off. I gotta tell ya that thing still hurts bad 4 hours later 😡🤬😡. We have a lot of bees, wasps and yellow jackets buzzing around when we're watering my wife's flower garden but never had any problems with them at all. About the only one to get stung is German shepherd because she bits at them and sometimes catches them in her mouth. 😵‍💫 Hope it'll stop hurting by morning.🙏
