Afternoon y'all.  I didn't sleep last night.  Finally managed to drift off late this a.m.  Slept til about 12:30.  For the last three months I've been putting one foot in front of the other trying to get through a particularly rough summer.  I'm exhausted and my body wants to collapse and be sick for a week.  I seem to be getting my feet under me though.  A few more days of rest and I'll be ready to do this vacation thing right!

There's a gun show in Coon Bottom this weekend.  They never amount to much and you never see an air gun at one of them.  I might drag some PBs up there and see if I can sell a few though.  Gotta go to the pharmacy and the auto supply store so I'll be making a trip in anyway.

The first vacation project will be rebuilding the brakes on my 2004 Ford Ranger.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! It started thundering and raining when I went to bed last night. It looks like we got a good soaking. I got up around 0730 and I’m having coffee. We have Sunday school & Ch**ch this morning and small group this afternoon. Not much else planned.

Decided to and started putting the recycled privacy fencing slats on the lean to.

Mowing the jungle before it rains this week. Open up the shooting lanes for the airguns. Set up the welding table to finish the art work for a gate. Work on the garden some. Tomorrow is the once in a great while grocery run and round up a few other things as well.

Wo what day is it?  Losing track of time in vacation mode.  Sat up all last night drawing, inking, smoking, and drinking rum.  I suffer from periodic bouts of artistic inspiration and when I get focused I lose all track of time.  Making progress on my graphic novel which will never be finished but it's fun to do.  Now I want to do a minor plot revision but it would require scrapping several pages of penciled work.

Since I slept half the day away it's too hot to sit outside now.  I'll probably tinker with air guns until it cools off.

Gonna lay around the shanty and get a good buzz on.

Actually I'll be doing some plumbing repairs to the tiny house septic system, working on the truck, helping the memsahib in the garden, entertaining the dogs.  The usual.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I slept in until 0600, got up and woke Ayrabella up for school. I’m having coffee and I’ll get ready for work. I don’t have a job on me yet, I’ll have to call the office around 0800, of course.

I’m doing an air filter change at a Grainger. Probably all I’ll get to do today. I’m fine with that. I’m going to be Mr. Mom for 2 weeks starting Wednesday. I’ll be shipping my wife off to Oregon to visit family.

I was up 22 hours yesterday, Then I slept 6 hours and woke up at 7:45 AM. Today I need to be at our house in town at 11:00 AM to show the '71 Impala to someone that may want to buy it. 


 I just remembered I napped for about 20 minutes in my desk chair yesterday afternoon. That nap was a power nap for sure, I was wide wake the rest of the time!

We went to bed at around 8:30. After waking up a couple times feeling restless I got up. In the recliner watching the recorded Eagles/Bucs game from earlier. I'll probably doze in and out here for a while before trying to go back to bed. Been doing this alot lately. I really can't remember the last time I slept right through the night. Sometimes a few crackers and a drink of milk does the job.

Unfortunately.  Ain't sleepin.  I should hobble out to the studio and work on an art project or an air gun but here I am seeing what the other insomniacs are up to.

Good morning, up with rain hitting the roof. Watching the tropics this morning, things are starting lining up in the "alley". Since the weather is being nasty, I will do a little cooking, house cleaning, and laundry. Probably work on some fishing lures, build leaders, and load a new tackle box with supplies.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Last day of work til my 5 day weekend. I got up at 0500 and went back to sleep until 0600. Got Ayrabella up to get ready for school. I have a freezer or a cooler to go service, I’ll probably milk it for all it’s worth if they don’t have anything else for me to do. If it’s a freezer, they say it’s 37* and it’s got problems… if it’s a cooler (they say it’s meat), it’s doing just fine.

I know what it is like to not be able to sleep for more than a couple of hours at a stretch.

Intermittent sleep has been the norm for me, ever since I got back from my tour of duty, while in the Army overseas.

I've got the same problem. I started taking a gabapentin 100 mg right before bed and unless I really need to pee I sleep the whole night. It also helps with the burning sensation in my hands from nerve damage. And dog gone it if it don't help stead my hands the next day.😁😁😁 Some times my hands will shake so bad that if I'm holding a cup of tea I have to put it down to keep from spilling it.😡😡 No, I don't drink so it's not from that. I just think I'm in the very early stages of Parkinson's.😡😡😡

I haven't slept through the night for several years. I don't even remember when it began. I have slept less than 6 hours a night tops but at least it used to be continuous.

Wife went to Mexico to check out the dentist there. A lot of Americans go there to get their dental done. So many they call the place molar city.🤣😁
