We have the stones!  Hope to get them painted this week and shipped out.  I like the idea of starting one here.  Not sure how to go about it but I'm sure it only take an email or two to see if we could get one going.  Thanks for the idea! 👊🏼

As stated in the article, a member of the community brought the idea to a city councilperson and she took it from there. It wasn't that hard to get folks onboard in our small community but I'm not sure how it would be in a larger setting.

50/50 chance we never see her again or she’s back in ninety days.

LOL!  Nah, we put her on the Gray Dog at Coon Bottom (It stops right in front of the Piggly Wiggly).  She’s taking the bus to Miami and flying from there.

We did the “live in SIL” thing during Covid with her last fiancé.  He is a great guy.  I’m really glad he escaped.

The upside of crazy is she is a brilliant polymath who learns languages for fun.  She speaks or at least reads five languages.

Enjoying the overcast 70 degree weather man is this a wonderful change from that miserably hot summer. So nice to drive with the AC off, windows down and sun roof open again. Had a nice rain last night too. The grass is pretty much green again. Real pleasant.

Yep!! It rained yesterday and the low got down to the low 50's. It's not suppose to get out of the high 70's. Had to change to some long pants this morning.

We had a very light shower blow through this afternoon.. more like a sprinkle. It got dark and the wind making it look like it was going to be much more. But the sun popped right back out. It's still in the low 90s but not as humid.

I am up after a good 6 hours in bed, I slept some of it, half done with my coffee, my wife just left for her stitching group. So, I need to decide what I want or need to do today.


 OK I don't get to decide what I need to do but if I can put off mowing any longer?


I need to mow, we are supposed to just get to 87° today, I guess I will mow when I finish my coffee, that was a fast decision!
  I'll start while it is cool. It's just 61°F out right now.

Mawnin Y'all.  Up at the crack of noon!  Gonna take the pups out to an old sand quarry in the national forest and let them run.  There are some good back stops there and I can plink while they play.  I spent yesterday involved in family obligations so today is MY day.

It's up to 59 here after it rained for the last 2 hours. Ended up with just a 1/8 of an inch of rain. Man, after it being hot all summer and working out side in high 80's to low 90s I'm freezing right now and it's 67 in the house.😂🤣😂 I get to the point if there's a slight breeze I have no problem with 90 in the shade. After it dries out some I'll probably be cutting down some more dead trees.

I been out since daylight working on a 10' x 18' closed in lean to on the Red Shed. The humidity and skeeters finally drove me in the house at around noon:30. I'm using all repurposed stuff.

Home from the quarry with two wet, sandy, pooped dogs.

I took three air rifles and shot the sawed off Crosman Fire and the Hatsan mod 95 both of which shoot well with Crosman Piranhas.  Lots of off hand shooting at different ranges.  I built this .22 caliber Fire out of parts bin stuff and it has become one of my favorite guns.  I've been hitting pinecones and beer cans at 45 yards with it and thinking that was pretty good.  Today I was hitting plastic water bottles at 65 yards off hand.  Not every shot mind you but often enough to make it fun.

I just got done mowing for 4 1/2 hours and two tanks of gas. It's 84°F and I am tired and hurtin for certain. I got everything mowed that the lawn tractor can do.  The weeds were tougher than they usually are and I had to go over some/most twice even though the blades were in good shape. 


I will run the weed whacker another day.

I've seen, at least around here is when it's dry the weeds are much harder to cut.

Dan I heard that! I brush hog and weed eat with the mower as much as possible. People would be surprised with the brush hogging a zero turn can do. I cut weeds and saplings up to 1/2 inch thick just fine and I don't do that often so I don't go through blades fast.
