Cappuccino and we'll see what follows.  I do have things that need accomplished but I'm muddy in what to prioritize on that list.  Maybe I should just write out the list and go from there?  Enjoy the day people! 💥 👊🏼

Good morning, business as usual, trying not roast in this heat. Get the rest of the food prep stuff done and move some of the already made up stuff to the shop freezer. Waiting on the tomatoes ripen up and the okra to start blooming. Figs are starting to ripen up. Peppers are ready to pick. With this heat I won't start anything else until late August. I will have grapes this year so that's plus. Later on check mail for fishing stuff and junk mail.

We still have some indeterminates (spoon tomatoes and Cherokees I think) that are still setting but the rest have quit.  With the night time temps so high right now we are picking the last of the Better Boys green and ripening them in paper bags.  We have tomatillos this year and they seem to love the heat.  We will persevere with peas, beans, and okra until they burn up.   

I am growing amelia and Florida Dade 80 tomatoes, they prefer this hot weather. growing red okra, sharp nose cabbage, cucumbers, peppers hot and bell. My strawberries are done, gave some of the pulled up plants to a friend the other day. I have figs, sand pears, and grapes for the next round of fruit if can keep the pests out of every thing. I had red potatoes but the bugs made meals out of the leaves so they had to be harvested early, I got 2 lbs out of them. Eggplant starting to set. I don't worry to much about getting some stuff started late because it won't frost or freeze until November around here.

Good morning all, I need to go to the bank, then go check on my place in town, and get some gas cans filled. I've got a pitcher of ice tea made, and when I get back here I should give the generators a test run to make sure I am ready too (It's a little late, but I've been busy with travels and weddings), I hope all's well with them. I took the Predator 4500 to MO and left it with the camping trailer. I still have the Honda 6500 and a Champion 4000 backup for the house and two small generators if needed.

 But I get a kick out of today's forecast "Today's temperature is forecast to be MUCH COOLER than yesterday." AND The forecast high is 102°F we are suppose to dip back to double digits next Tuesday through the end of the week, we'll see...
 The humidity at the peak temperature will only be 12%-22% which helps my evaporative cooler work a lot better. 
 I may still use the window AC some but will try to make due without.

Had to take my wife's tire to discount tire and get it patched. Sitting in subway just waiting for them to call me that it's done.

I got the banking done and "went by" my house in town. I ended up spending about 2 1/2 to 3 hours there and cleaned up leaves in the carport and some weeds in the back that were ridiculously huge, I filled the 90 gallon green waste can so the hedge trimming will have to wait another week unless I just take my 69 GMC pickup and haul off the trimmings . Now I am getting cooled off sitting in front of the AC eating ice cream.

I forgot the gas cans, so that didn't happen.

Along with all the Silicon Valley BigTech businesses demanding all workers to come back in the office for no reason other than micro-managing is their way of life.  "Hey, we have all these office spaces we spent beaucoup bucks on.  We need everybody back in the office to justify why we bought fancy artwork, Herman-Miller chairs, Magic Boards, and Carbon Fiber board tables!"

Frank, I hope you manage to keep cool.  Vacaville, Suisun Valley, Fairfield, American Canyon,... the whole region there can get downright desiccating.  I remember my summers in the early 90s there in Vallejo and it could get downright unpleasant- your further north and east, so you don't get the cooling effect from being right on The Bay.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! We were up late last night after fireworks, so I slept in until 0600 again. But, yesterday was a good day. This morning I have Sunday school at 0900, Ch**ch at 1000 hrs. Small group at 1600. I got a lot done yesterday, but not the water spigots. I have those Woodford anti-siphon water spigots and I have 2 of their rebuild kits. I should be able to get those done sometime today.

Me and the Dawg been up since 5:30 and the campground is still quiet and no one is out.

Bad storms rolled through last night. Some Campers are going to have a rude awakening with their damage.

Betty Lou must have got up with the dogs. I didn't hear a thing. She went and laid down in the spare room after.

Strange droplets of liquid...seems to be water? The New Northern desert may green up a little.

Weeding the garden is a no go today. No plans, but I will likely put the HW30 up against the Daisy 753 in some 10m shooting. So far the HW30 still rules.

The 753 is better with the gridded upgrade, but there is more work to do. I need to source some lighter springs.
I went with the existing holes, correct center to center, just not in the right spots. I may address that at a later date.

I bought a couple of these contraptions, put one on my mini MProd and the other on the 753. Really helps me get a better sight picture on both rifles by helping me get the rifle to the same position every time.

Plans?  We slept in.  Up @ 7:00-ish, a hearty breakfast followed.

We heard from a guy we regarding a bike he's selling; my 4-decades-old Jamis cruiser has some porosity around the bottom bracket so we're thinking it may be closing in on time to replace the frame.  Well, Dude had a Jamis Taxi (it's another beach cruiser) for sale inside my budget.  I'm usually the guy who buys a frame, not a whole bike, but this is enough of a good deal to justify getting the whole bicycle.  And chances are the internal rust in my old bike is more extensive that it appears. 

Other than checking out (and likely buying) that Jamis, we're going to go on a bike ride shortly, then get back and go play on the lake- and likely consume a lot of tasty food and perhaps enjoy a beer or two.  If I still have any impetus after all that, some parts were delivered by Amazon.  I have enough projects to stay busy for months.

Mawnin y'all!  It's fixin to be a scorcher today!  I might drift down river and set some bush hooks or just go with a cane pole back at the fish ponds.  I gots a hankerin for some more fried catfish!  It's time to get out the crawfish rake and the frog gig too.  It's too hot for crabbing, pier fishing, or throwing the cast net.

Not much due to the heat, got most of the morning garden chores done before I fried. Do some indoor stuff until it cools down later this afternoon. Then it's mow the grass again, with all the grass clippings I will have a huge compost pile going. Tomorrow is dealing with one doctor in the morning and the needle ninjas around noon time for platelet donation. After that pick up a few things from china feight, joanns, winn-dixie for fried chicken. Got to have fried chicken when fishing.

My day's plan retroactively told, I woke at 3:39 AM, my alarm was set for 4:00 and I went back to sleep until it went off because I had gotten to bed later than I wanted to and felt I would need that 21 minutes sleep later in the day, LOL. I did get back to sleep immediately but the 21 minutes didn't help like I hoped it would. I drank double my normal daily coffee while I refined my notes for the morning message.  We had Ch**ch, and then went out to eat and I had my favorite Fish Taco's that are offered in Hemet. We came home and I slept a bit in my recliner in front of the cooler, NICE! Then I studied some and drank more coffee, had evening Ch**ch at 5:00 PM, and now am back home.

Now my plan for the rest of the day.

Relax, browse the internet, check on tracking to see what is going on with some packages, spend some time with my wife and go to bed, or go to bed and spend time with my wife, I'll play it by ear and see how it happens.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I had a pretty good weekend and I have to work today, so I got up at 0430. I’ll start the day with an air conditioning call, so I’ll roll out to work as early as I can. I’ll probably head out around 0600. Tomorrow’s a paid holiday, that’ll shorten the feel of this week, perhaps.
