So far not much.  Couple loads of laundry, a run to the post office and the grocery store for some juice for the sick kiddos.  Watched some wood turning videos with some boys, played a few games of pool with one, shot 36 pellets through my Royale, I should probably go do something productive but I'm still not feeling it.  I'm sure if I started something I'd get motivated.  I don't want to start something just because so I think I'll lay low.

Same here it was infuriating. This while a 14yr old freshman friend of mine was 6'2" and had to shave twice a day to keep the school from sending him home who could bench press 425lbs and was breaking school football records as a center. People would consider him just a kid at that age but he could have body slammed a sumo wrestler, stomped a puddle in him and walked it dry. Kid my foot!

Just another weekday workday for me.  Rainy with a breeze... Not the type of stuff I would mow the lawn in.  Thus my plans for today involve work and some reading as I sort out some books in my e-book collection.

If it dries out, I will start some disassembly of the Statesman riding mower; one of the first projects on that will be addressing steering.  It has- as measured by a protractor- 69 degrees of slop/play in the steering.  The deck can be swapped to my Troybilt rider but vagaries in design means some modification may be required, especially since Sonja's ex "modified" the Troybilt's deck and mounting.  We'll see what happens

If it is dry when Sonja gets home from work, we might fling some lead in the airguns after dinner.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday- it’s Hump Day!!! I got up at 0430, meeting with the guys from Ch**ch at 0600, then head into work. I worked on 2 big 5 door freezers yesterday until I threw in the towel on them when I realized it was too hot in the store for the freezers to be happy enough to run. I worked on the a/c until I got them running well. I need to go back this morning to check on those freezers and close out that job.

Hopefully not having to evacuate 🤬😡🤬. We've got a fire bug setting fires around here. So far the Mobil station burned down. The ranch house restaurant burned but not sure how bad. There was 3 fires set yesterday that had 2 of the volunteer fire departments busy plus the forestry handling the 3rd. Got the travel trailer hooked up and ready to load up the 8 dogs and 1 cat and get the heck out of here if needed. It's been very windy and if you're from or in commiefornia you know it just brings out the fire bugs. Haven't had any problems like this in the 3 years we've lived here but not sure about before. I hope when they catch the person they bring back the tar and feathering punishment.🤬🤬🤬

One clue might be location of the fires. The pyro must understand that if one of the fires he/she set got out of control it could burn him/her out. Or maybe they have issues that prevent them from that rationale.

The town has burned down 2-3 times in the past but that was before there was a town well. Before that all of the water came in on the train. It's a very poor community.

Just seeing this Dan. Congratulations. I'm a member of that club too. God blessed me a beautiful godly woman; in August we'll have been married 50 years.

Good morning GTA!!! Happy Thursday!!! I got up at 0500, finishing up my 3rd cup o’Joe. I don’t have a job on me for today. This is pretty frustrating. I’ll call in between 0730-0800. I told them, my van is rolling at 0800. Though I’d love to, I can’t hang out at home this time of year.

It's another day, another 48¢

Okay, maybe a bit more than that.  Sonja's doing some errands, I'm working, and the dogs and cats are all doing dog and cat things.  My plans include topping off the bird feeders, wrapping up laundry (a never ending process), and if weather permits, either flingin' arrahs or playing with the slingshots.  Sonja's skill with the slingshots has improved significantly as she grows muscle memory.  I switched her wrist-rocket style flat-bander to a heavier shorter flat band and her accuracy improved dramatically.  Women often have a couple things get in the way shooting across the body.     Anyhoooooo, I'm glad she's taking some time to relax; she said the 90 minute commute each way yesterday in our 03 Element was rough simply due to strong gusty crosswinds and heavy rain on top of the normal traffic and accidents. 

Other plans may or may not include some mower disassembly; a lot depends on the weather.

I was up early, the wedding is at 1:00 PM, so I am relaxing, drinking coffee here in the peace of the RV, while all the prep madness goes on in the house.
