Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I woke up at 0350, again, and started the coffee. I couldn’t go back to sleep this time. I got up, I’m on my 3rd cup now. I don’t have a job on me yet, but I left 3 disasters incomplete yesterday. Bills and this job are really starting to make me question my own sanity. I’m really hoping that not giving up will pay off someday. Hopefully, real soon.

Boats yesterday.  Late patrol and boats today.  Boats tomorrow.  That's been my week so far.  I'm pretty tired from yesterday's shift still.  So I'm gonna coast today and leave the heavy stuff to my partner.

Good morning, whack worms in garden, feed zoo, feed me, and then it's time to play with the fishing stuff. I have some new colors to play with to make soft baits. Stopped at hobby lobby for some mold making stuff, working on a shrimp design without having to buy the expensive lures or molds that make them. I had ordered special hooks for one of my molds and part of the order came in the other day, one pack of 100ct 1/0 and a pack of 100ct #4, well the #4s didn't make it. I email the company the issue, they shipped again, yesterday the hooks arrived, they are #4s but I have a 1000 of them now. I'm not about to balk about that, I would guess that the nice email had something to with it. I needed that size more than the other. I am good for a while with that project.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday- it’s Hump Day! I woke up early and heard it thunderstorming and went back to sleep. I got up at 0440 and I’m having my coffee. Thanks for that Gil, I listen to a station that plays music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Mama Said comes on a lot and I remember it often. Robert, I’ve read those before and I get it. When I’m not at work, I’m not old really. Most people I talk to are actually older than me. But, when I’m at work, I’m old and to some I’m cranky. I’m working on proving that I’m not that old, and not that cranky. It’s hard to do sometimes. I fixed one disaster yesterday and mostly another one. This morning I’ll go back to fix that second one and the plan is to go to the third one afterwards. I need to pickup some diesel for the tractor on the way home at the end of the day.

Something I've noticed since retirement... If not for Nascar or you announcing Hump Day I wouldn't know what day of the week it was.. 
When Nascar season is over you will be my only source of tracking time...   thanks Buddy.

It's easy for me keep track of what day it is.   The town dump is only open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Bill, I have a calendar on the wall to remind me of the bills and appointments(if any). I don't even think about what day it is anymore or worry with a schedule since I have retired, I just take the day as it comes.  I have forgotten a few times to get the garbage to the road but that's about it. So for today's plans, replace the handles on the wheel barrow, finish rearranging the fishing stuff, weed eat around the house, carry a T post to the back 40 and fix a post that supports the corner post, finish opening up the fire lines in that corner as well.

Yep, that's what helps me keep track of what day it is. Ours is Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Mornin y'all.  Taking it easy today.  Despite my intention to slack off yesterday I spent most of the morning running either a stick edger or a string trimmer.

Yep.  I got the Lumbago bad.  Couldn't hardly get out of the sack this a.m.  Now I'm eating pain killers and muscle relaxers for breakfast.  Called the boss and told him I wouldn't be there.  I won't know what my plans are until I get to the point where I can get up out of this chair.! LOL!

Workin' for the man today.  Hoping to have a "normal" day today.  Yesterday was one of those days like noted earlier in this thread.  Everything moved along but it was all skewed a few degrees off from normal, just enough to make things run a little slower and requiring a bit more effort.  I was glad to leave it all behind at quitting time.  Yesterday was just the start of my work week and I have OT already on the schedule for this week.  I need to keep my head down and keep forging forward. 

Tonight is racing with the boys so there is that.  I'm sure there will be dinner in there, some clean up, some race prep and then come home after races and get ready for bed to do it all again tomorrow.  At least it's my "half day Friday" tomorrow since I work a split shift at work and I don't start until 3 pm on Fridays and Saturdays (except this Saturday, 16 hour shift).  We might be taking our daughter out for her graduation dinner this Thursday?  I kinda hope so because I'm looking forward to eating out

Shipped a scope yesterday to Iowa via USPS.

While there, a lady cop, late 30s or early 40s, in civilian clothing was in the queue.

Slacks, heels, sleeveless blouse, the right accessories + a holstered Glock on her right hip and cuffs on her left.

One of the most attractive females I have seen in my whole life and with 5’7” or 5’8” of the right angles and contours—-the type of lady detective(s) you see in TV shows, wow

I woke at 7:00 which wasn't sleeping in because of what time I went to bed. WE are going to take time to go to my youngest daughter's for lunch today, and we Have Bible Study at Ch**ch tonight. Other than that see if I can get anything else on the pre-trip list done. Sorting though the stuff my parents had in the RV took long than I thought it could but it is ready for a thorough cleaning now. I think we are just going to go without changing the water tank, we will have hookups while we are there so it won't be too inconvenient and I would rather pay someone else to do that particular job, I try to avoid working on the ground if I can. 

  I have taken some time off to do a few small things to my CT90 project bike. I put new seat foam and a new upholstery on it yesterday and cleaned it up a little (just fast job). I just needed a break from the trip list and that help. Now back to it.

  It looks like it will clean up better than I imagined, I may wait on painting it for a while?

When payday rolls around I pay them online and delete the reminders as I do. Cell phone and streaming service are set to autopay. I get a heads up 3 days before they go out. Payday is every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Trash goes out Sunday night.
Anything beyond that is "at will".

I get the notifications as well, except for a few. Hopefully in another year so I will have reduced about half of the bills. It's just nice to be able to get up in the morning and not have to worry about the job and stupid stuff that came with it. I go at my own pace now and it has been great.
